Patch 1.2.25

  • Spinosaurus no longer spawns in the Marsh biome. This was done to remove the extreme danger of spinosaurus spawning at most freshwater sources.
  • Growing directly from eating has returned to the game for the player. Taking a bite of food will make you grow slightly. Larger and older creatures require more food in order to grow. Passive growth is still in the game as well.

Patch 1.2.24

  • Added 3 small freshwater ponds and an oasis to the Savage Lands map.
  • Rearranged some of the forest and prairie areas in the Savage Lands map.
  • Added some more height variation to the Savage Lands prairie and forest areas.

Patch 1.2.23

  • Dimetrodon now walks faster.
  • The 3 new creature summoning abilities have been moved to the secondary ability slot and the secondary ability slot is unlocked as soon as you start playing the game instead of unlocking after you reach the sub adult growth stage. The third ability slot is now unlocked after you reach the sub adult growth stage instead of the adult growth stage.
  • Fixed a glitch where if an AI creature went to sit or sleep it could slide across the ground.
  • Fixed a glitch where if an AI creature went to sit or sleep it could walk in place and not play its sit or sleep animation.
  • Vegetation bending is now mostly working as creatures move through the vegetation.
  • The vegetation is now linked to the weather system and reacts to the wind.

Patch 1.2.22

A new primary ability has been added to the game for all creatures. Call Sibling. Calls a sibling to your location. 5 minute cooldown. (Summon)

A new primary ability has been added to the game for all creatures. Call Pack. Calls a pack of siblings to your location. 15 minute cooldown. Pack size is determined by the species, some species have more, some have less. (Summon)

A new primary ability has been added to the game for all creatures. Call Parent. Calls a parent to your location. 30 minute cooldown. (Summon)

Dimetrodon's movement speed is now faster.

Patch 1.2.21d

  • Eating has been changed for carnivores, to be similar to how herbivore eating has been changed to. Up to 24 bites (for a huge eater) can be on huge creature bodies and carcasses. Smaller creatures being able to take more bites from larger bodies and carcasses. This was done to encourage roaming around and searching for food instead of staying at the same food for extended periods of time.
  • Swallowing food has been adjusted for the titanoboa, to be in line with the above carnivore changes. They should now be able to swallow prey of the appropriate size.
  • Fixed some glitches with the new scent system.
  • Fixed a glitch with carnivores carrying dead creatures in their mouth and how they weren't appearing in or near the carrier's mouth. Carrying a dead body only works if the dead creature is under a certain size compared to the carrier. You can pick up or drop a dead body with the "G" key. (Ragdolls will be implemented for dead creatures in a future patch!)
