New Water

The game now uses a new water system. This new system can be used for the ocean, lakes, swamps, and rivers whereas the old water system could only be used for 1 plane of water at a single height. The underwater rendering looks a little different now and gets darker and murkier the deeper you swim.

Fixed an issue with the sarcosuchus' walk and run animations.

Pangaea Test Map Update

The test map Pangaea now uses world streaming to improve FPS and RAM usage.

The test map Pangaea is now 32k x 32k units in size, which is 16 times larger than any of the other 5 maps.

Testing the new "WIP" Pangaea Map

A new map, Pangaea, is being built. Its not finished yet but its playable and testable as I work on it. This new map is 4 times larger than any of the other maps and it consists of multiple biomes and some new biomes. Vegetation is missing but its next on my to do list. This new map could possibly use more system RAM than the other maps but this is not yet known until the vegetation is added.

Fixes

Accelerated Growth buff is once again counting down.

Fixed a case where sliding down slopes wasn't changing creatures' rotations.

Slope sliding has been slowed down to around 1/4th of its previous speed.

Falling speed has been reduced by 50%.

Jumping

Some species can now jump. Some species lose the ability to jump as they get older. Press the spacebar to try to jump.
Jumping is still a work in progress. (Jump animations are being added for more species, jump variables are being adjusted, and some glitches need to be fixed)

Elder creatures can now continue to grow. They continue to grow passively over time and faster near sunstones, and grow actively through eating.
There is no progress bar for Elder growth but you can see your progress as a number in the escape menu. 1.0 is a full-grown adult. 1.5 is a new elder.

Fixed a case of food being dropped under the terrain when trying to drop food on the ground.
