Engine Update (Update 0.10.18.6)

🔹Updated the Unity Engine to version 2020.3.31f1.

🔹Updated some Unity packages.

🔹Added links to the game's Steam discussion forums and also to the game's Discord server on the Main Menu's Announcements.

Elder AI Damage and Health Reduction (Update 0.10.18.5)

🔹Elder AI health has been reduced from 10x to 5x the species' normal amount of health.

🔹Elder AI damage has been reduced from 5x to 2.5x the species' normal amount of damage.

🔹Adult AI damage has been reduced from 2.5x to 2x the species' normal amount of damage.

🔹The icon that represents the player's dinosaur's location on the world map has changed from a green dot to an arrow that points in the direction the player's dinosaur is facing.

If Your Game Freezes or Crashes at Startup (Update 0.10.18.4)

The game options/settings window has caused issues before during startup so I've made a workaround that could potentially fix startup freezes and crashes.

You need to first navigate to the following folder on your computer:
C:/Users/YourUserName/AppData/LocalLow/Exhibyte/IslesOfPangaea/
Once there manually create a new text file (.txt) and name it:
options_startup
Then open the new file and on the first line you can try the following different numbers that change the startup mode of the options window.

1 is the default so you shouldn't need to try this option.

Just enter the number on the first line and save the file.

Then start up the game and see if it works.

If it doesn't work try the other number (0 or 2)

If it works, excellent! If not, I'm sorry but I don't think your system is compatible with my game at this time.

Nightvision Intensity Increase (Update 0.10.18.3)

🔹The intensity of nightvision has doubled for all tiers, so it should be easier to see at night.

Bug Fixes (Update 0.10.18.2)

🔹Drinking saltwater is no longer removing counts of Food Poisoning because drinking saltwater causes Food Poisoning in some dinosaurs.

🔹Damage is now only done to a dinosaur if the attacker is within attack range of their target when the damage should land on the target.

🔹AI attack range has been increased back to 100% instead of 75% of their species' normal attack range.
