Genetic Fluff Minor Update

Genetic Fluff is approaching a stable full release.

Version 0.8.1 contains minor stability updates and bug fixes:
  • Dialog improvements were made, text now types out for more enjoyable reading experience.
  • General AI Navigation bug fixes.

Genetic Fluff Major Update - Version 0.8.0 Released!

Genetic Fluff is approaching a stable full release.

Version 0.8.0 is a major update and there were many gameplay, stability and useability updates:
  • Game input has been simplified and streamlined. Now when attacking the joy direction dictates which attack (high, middle, low) is used.
  • Sound Menu now allows you to change the music tracks.
  • Each main character (Elio, Aster, Sten, Ada) animations now have blocking and blocking walking animations.
  • Many bugs have been fixed and after a complete play-though of the current game, everything seems to be currently working.
What is left to finish before complete release:
  • A few more levels to add to the end of the game.
  • Some story dialog to write.
  • Animations for special attacks to be created.

Genetic Fluff Release Version 0.7.2

The new release of Genetic Fluff version 0.7.2 has many bug fixes and gameplay updates:
  • Controller/keyboard menu input fixes.
  • High, middle and low attacks are now based on the players joystick direction. Where the attack was previously calculated based on the opponent you are attacking.
  • HUD improvements, including text size updates.
  • Godot Engine updates, currently on 4.1.3 stable.
  • And many more bug fixes and general improvements to gameplay.

Genetic Fluff Early Access Game Update!

This is probably the largest update Genetic Fluff has undergone since entering Early Access.

0.7.0.0 release includes:
  • Character Updates (added new player animations and attacks!)
  • Character Navigation Improvements (added navigation avoidance, enemy clustering etc.)
  • Level Updates (play testing, fine-tuning)
  • Dialog Updates (refined story dialog for new/exiting levels)
  • Menu Improvements (streamlined the UI menu useability)
  • HUD Improvements (added additional HUD features for readability etc.)
  • Game Engine Upgrade (upgraded to Godot Engine 4.1 from Godot Engine 3.5)
  • and many more improvement and updates included...

Genetic Fluff Version 0.6.3.0 released!

Genetic Fluff version 0.6.3.0 updates:
  • Gameplay changes and improvements to simplify and controller input.
  • Attacking is now one button instead of three. Items can be used without entering the item menu.
  • Charging attack was removed and has been replaced with easy to use one button attacking.
  • See the Genetic Fluff main product page for new controller mapping.
  • Camera split screen has been removed and replaced with auto-zooming.
  • Many bugs have also been fixed including AI and pathfinding issues.
