Greetings, fellow gamers and Steam enthusiasts! It's me, Peter the Pig, here to answer some of the most frequently asked questions trotting around the community regarding our life on the farm. So without further ado, let's dive right into them!
[h3]Why do some chicken names disappear by themselves after a few days?[/h3]
This was an issue, and the team has already resolved it! Your chickenās names should stay in place now.
[h3]Why do the chickens wander off outside the farm when there are grass and hay bales around?[/h3]
Maybe the dog accidentally chased them away? Perhaps it was raining and they were looking for a place to hide? Or they just wanted to go for a walk, they are living animals after allā¦ :)
[h3]What does the total of chicken number mean? For example, it may display Total number of chicken: 12, but the total number in coop is 9. But i don't have any other chicken icons on my map.[/h3]
Trust us - there are 3 more chickens somewhere on the map! :)
[h3]How near or how far apart must the chicken perches be spaced to register as legitimate perches?[/h3]
There is no special distance. It has to be just big enough so that the chicken is able to squeeze into the perch.
[h3]Why does Grandma get stuck in the animal pens that she managed to get into?[/h3]
Check if your fence has any holes in it! If so, then fix it, and this should not be happening :)
[h3]What do ducks eat other than snails?[/h3]
Ducks like to munch on some grass too!
[h3]Why did my trained dog run to the northern island when i went to find the entertaining goats?[/h3]
Perhaps you took a strange route through for example some rocks, which the dog couldnāt climb? Our friend might get lost sometimes, when he cannot find a safe path to go through.
[h3]Are there specific fishing spots? Or we can only catch fish at the pond for the fishing contest?[/h3]
In some of the spots you can see the fish in the water. This means itās a great place to catch them!
[h3]How do I ride a horse? [/h3]
You need to win a Horse Race Dream! This will unlock a Saddle, which youāll be able to purchase from the Merchant.
[h3]How do we select one unit of an item/vegetable?[/h3]
Thereās no such feature yet, but weāve added it to our suggestions list!
