Fixed game crashing when not enough space is left.

v0.23.0 - Advanced Automation

A milestone was reached today! The pipe system is at a point where I can say it's feature-rich enough to support your automation needs. Anything you can produce can be automated now, it's time to go crazy!

Here you can see a simple section producing basic resources & Components:




A Components Factory have 2 inputs - one for Metal and one for Mineral:


Note: For producing devices - any of the inputs accepts only one item. The currently accepted item can be checked by hovering over Input, a better solution to check it will be implemented in the future.

  • Multiple Input Devices - a milestone for full production chains automation
  • Limit amount of item from each input a device may hold - prevent issues with automated production
  • Change: Adding output pipe for Waste Processor

v0.22.9 - Supportive Crew

Long missing behavior was added - crew help each other in large tasks

Changelog:
  • Multiple crew members can work on a single job
  • Change: Camera movement speed depending on how much you scrolled in
  • Change: Now - when clicking on multiple overlaying objects - the top-most is selected first
  • Fixed issue with placement pipes >12 tiles from station center
  • Resolved issue where dropped items in saved games were left on the ground forever
  • Resolved issue where unit panel didn't work after loading game save


What's next? I'll work on a pipe system supporting devices with multiple inputs - so that advanced production devices could be automated.

v0.22.8 - Pipe Bridge

Expansion to pipe systems - for advanced setups there is need for pipe lines to cross each other - pipe bridge allows to do so still separating them. While one line get's stuck, second one is still unaffected!


Changelog:
  • New Device: Pipe Bridge - allows for easier crossing of two pipe lines
  • Fix: When in pipe overlay view - new item in pipes are now visible
  • Fix: Don't allow for multiple pipes when placing new device with input/output over a constructed pipe
  • Fix: No longer stuck in interaction mode where you can't interact with devices/crew
  • Change: Pipe removal is now easier to discover
  • Change: Reduce asteroids amount

  • New Feature: Waste Processor - processes Waste Water into mostly Water
  • New Feature: Toxic Burner - burn Toxic Waste - a byproduct of Waste Water processing
  • New Item: Toxic Waste - highly unwanted item, that can be burned into Mineral
  • Changed: Components Factory idle power lowered to 0.2 kWh, jumps up to 1 kWh while producing
  • Changed: Component item have a new icon
  • Changed: Game log now has information about trade summary
  • Fix: Power overlay no longer shows devices that are still under construction
  • Fix: Show default avatar in crew recruit panel
