v0.23.3 - Mine it yourself

Some time has passed since the last update, sorry for that ːsteamsadː
This update brings changes to the early game & addresses the game feeling slow.

Changes:
  • Mining laser replaces mining dock as an early game source of minerals
  • Mining dock is now unlockable via the tech tree
  • Speed up of the game - unit movement x2.5, production time shortened by x4
  • Quest line about mining laser
  • Fixed UI elements scalling
  • Prevent game breaking due to undocking when a trade occurs

v0.23.2 - Optimization

Optimization to the game - removed FPS drops due to revalidating jobs that couldn't be realized.

v0.23.1 - Fix!

Fixed game crashing when not enough space is left.

v0.23.0 - Advanced Automation

A milestone was reached today! The pipe system is at a point where I can say it's feature-rich enough to support your automation needs. Anything you can produce can be automated now, it's time to go crazy!

Here you can see a simple section producing basic resources & Components:




A Components Factory have 2 inputs - one for Metal and one for Mineral:


Note: For producing devices - any of the inputs accepts only one item. The currently accepted item can be checked by hovering over Input, a better solution to check it will be implemented in the future.


Changelog:
  • Multiple Input Devices - a milestone for full production chains automation
  • Limit amount of item from each input a device may hold - prevent issues with automated production
  • Change: Adding output pipe for Waste Processor
  • Change: Stop production when not enough space for it in the device
  • Cleaner game save slots visual

  • Temporary solution for bug occurring when constructing truss/module

v0.22.9 - Supportive Crew

Long missing behavior was added - crew help each other in large tasks

Changelog:
  • Multiple crew members can work on a single job
  • Change: Camera movement speed depending on how much you scrolled in
  • Change: Now - when clicking on multiple overlaying objects - the top-most is selected first
  • Fixed issue with placement pipes >12 tiles from station center
  • Resolved issue where dropped items in saved games were left on the ground forever
  • Resolved issue where unit panel didn't work after loading game save


What's next? I'll work on a pipe system supporting devices with multiple inputs - so that advanced production devices could be automated.
