Better Questions, Faster Boss Rounds, Bugs Squashed!

Hey everyone!

This week our goal was general polish and bug fixes based on community feedback. Therefore, we focused these efforts on improving the quality of our questions and the pacing of boss mode. In addition we put aside time to squash the most commonly encountered and more severe outstanding bugs. Most of this feedback was brought to our attention through our Discord community and watching your streams - so thanks to all of you for helping to improve the game!

[h3]Question Database Changes[/h3]

Nearly 300 questions have been adjusted in this update.
Re-vetted all user submitted questions and removed those on obscure topics.
All categories have been assessed for questions with a predominant focus on British culture, with any such questions being removed. Particular attention was paid to the Sport, History and Film/TV categories.
Standardized on American spelling.

[h3]Vs Boss Mode Pacing Improvements[/h3]

Sped up Chance Round during Vs Boss mode – non-multiplier balls now move to players much faster.

[h3]Server Menu & Lobby Fixes[/h3]

Trying to enter an un-joinable lobby (Such as one that is full) will now inform the player why they cannot join it.
Additional messaging informing players why their attempt to join a lobby failed (such as in the case of a failed connection).
Fixed guest local players not being counted in the online lobby player count.
Fixed a bug where players couldn't see full lobbies in the Server Menu.
Fixed a bug where players could attempt to join games that were in-progress.
Fixed various bugs where it was possible to have more than 8 players spawn in a lobby.
Fixed a bug where failing to join a lobby that was in-progress would prevent you from joining that lobby when it becomes available.
Beta lobbies are now hidden from non-beta players.

[h3]Bugs Squashed[/h3]

Fixed a bug where player avatars were shown against the wrong players when someone left the lobby.
Fixed a bug where the first leaderboard of a game would fill with '2222' (or the money awarded in the previous game) following a specific combination of players joining and leaving.
Fixed a bug where a solo player using a gamepad was unable to use the mouse to answer questions.
Fixed the 'Ready' countdown appearing in the lobby for a split second when everyone readied up.
Fixed a rare bug where achievements for winning and losing games were not always being correctly awarded.
Fixed text over-flow issues in a number of dialog boxes.
Fixed a bug where the chance round balls would be untextured if they fail to load in time. They now display a placeholder texture.
Fixed a bug where the leaderboard music would play during Chance Round before the balls are drawn in Vs Boss Mode
Additionally, we released a a hotfix last Sunday which resolved an issue that, in extremely rare cases, could lead to save corruption.

[h3]Other Changes[/h3]

Correct answer on the TV screen now made clearer.
In Vs Boss Mode AI answers are no longer displayed mid-question.
The King now looks smug during Chance Round instead of angry.
King-specific dialogue has been updated.
The ‘Exclusive Fullscreen’ option has been removed. This option was misleading as it was not enabling ‘true’ exclusive fullscreen. We are still attempting to resolve the issues with exclusive fullscreen, and we apologise to our players for the confusion!
Added decimal separators to the numbers in the Statistics Menu.

Over the next two weeks we will be reimagining Vs Boss mode and introducing a new opponent!
