New Ares Line: U.S. Medium Tanks with a Tier XI Vehicle

[p]Commanders![/p][p]Meet the Ares family—four brand-new American medium tanks from Tier VIII up to a Tier XI topper, all equipped with distinctive Thermal Overheat Control autocannons. [/p][p]These autocannons fire continuously without a traditional reload cycle. Each shot is fired the moment you press the trigger—no clip reloads, no interruptions. You set the tempo yourself. Tap to maintain tighter control over the temperature, or hold to unleash sustained burst fire.[/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p]
Thermal Overheat Control Autocannon: How It Works
[p]Every shot generates heat, no matter how slowly you fire, and that heat gradually reduces the gun's effectiveness. If you fire rapidly or for too long, the weapon eventually reaches a critical temperature. At that point, the Thermal Overheat Control system activates and temporarily locks firing to prevent damage, re-enabling the gun only after it cools back down. [/p][p][/p]
Autocannon Mechanics #1: Precision at Range
[p]The Ares line rewards steady, well-managed firing cycles that let you keep the gun temperature—and your performance—under control. Fire short bursts or single rounds to keep the heat low and maintain higher accuracy.[/p][p][/p]
Autocannon Mechanics #2: Full Burst in Close Combat
[p]When the fight gets close, just hold the trigger and unleash your full damage output. The gun will heat rapidly; accuracy will drop, but at close range every shell may find its mark. Sustain fire until the gun overheats, then fall back while it cools down.[/p][p][/p][p]LEARN MORE[/p][p]EU NA ASIA[/p][p][/p]
Ares 90 C—A Tier XI Hotshot with Exclusive Upgrade Nodes
[p][/p][p][/p][p]The new line culminates in the Ares 90 C, a top-tier medium tank. Its powerful autocannon, decent stabilization, and reserve track system make it one of the most flexible Tier XI mediums in the game. [/p][p]Unlike the lower-tier vehicles in the line, which use Field Modification, the Ares 90 C has access to an exclusive Tier XI upgrade system.[/p][p][/p]
From Ares 75 to Ares 90—Evolving Power
[p]The lower-tier vehicles—the Ares 75 (Tier VIII), Ares 85 (Tier IX), and Ares 90 (Tier X)—introduce the same core mechanic but with gradually improving damage potential and statistics. Each tank changes how quickly the gun heats up—lower-tier Ares vehicles generate less heat per shot and can fire longer before reaching critical temperature, while higher-tier ones hit harder but heat up faster. This creates clear progression toward Tier XI.[/p][p][/p][carousel][/carousel][p][/p]

[p]Prepare to meet the new U.S. medium tanks and check out the dedicated article below for all the details![/p][p][/p][p]LEARN MORE[/p][p]EU NA ASIA[/p]

Get Ready for New Tier XI Vehicles and Rebalance!

[p]Commanders!

Update 2.1.1, arriving in mid-January, will introduce two brand-new Tier XI vehicles—the PTZ-78 and the STK-2—both continuing their existing Tech Tree lines. Each one features a unique mechanic and opens new tactical opportunities across every map. Scroll down for details! [/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p]
PTZ-78
[p][/p][p][/p][p]The PTZ-78 brings extreme mobility to the TD class thanks to its Sequential Rocket Thrusters. Solid-fuel boosters activate for several seconds, enhancing acceleration, mobility, and maneuverability.  [/p][p]Thrusters works independently from each other, ensuring sharper hull traverse and quicker turning, and they do not restrict reverse movement. Thrusters can be used multiple times per battle, with a cooldown between activations.[/p][p][/p]
STK-2
[p][/p][p][/p][p]The STK-2 enters the battlefield with an evolved version of the existing Gun Cooling mechanic—one that actively works to keep the gun cold and maintain high firing performance. When the gun fires, it begins to heat up, and during reload it automatically cools down, gradually returning to its stronger parameters. [/p][p]A fully cooled gun offers exceptional precision for a heavy tank—approaching the level of the most accurate vehicles in the game. The first shot delivers peak accuracy and the second remains very consistent, but as you continue firing, the gun moves through multiple heat stages, each of which progressively reduces accuracy.[/p][p][/p]
Tier XI Rebalance
[p]Update 2.1.1 also improves several existing Tier XI vehicles to fine-tune their combat performance, including their special abilities. Six machines receive updated stats and enhanced progression paths: [/p]
 • [p]Leopard 120 Verbessert [/p]
 • [p]AS-XX 40 t [/p]
 • [p]Object 432U [/p]
 • [p]Hirschkäfer [/p]
 • [p]Szakal [/p]
 • [p]Strv 107-12 [/p]
[p]These changes adjust survivability, mobility, and firepower where needed, ensuring each vehicle fulfills its specialized role more consistently. And there's more: Some vehicles will also receive adjustments not only to their base characteristics but to the performance of their unique Tier XI mechanics through select Upgrade Node changes.[/p][p][/p][p]LEARN MORE[/p][p]EU NA ASIA[/p]
