Running from June 28 through June 30 and from July 5 through July 7, it will engage you in intense combat under the cover of darkness with limited visibility. Access this exciting mode via the mode selector and become the unseen threat on the battlefield!

[h3]What's New?[/h3]
Compared to the previous launch back in 2023, Darkness of the Night has several gameplay and visual changes. Check them out:

• New map: special version of Fjords shrouded in darkness. It features dimmed lighting and rain. The precipitation does not affect the gameplay but adds to the mood. It won't impact the performance of your system significantly.
  
• Jamming modifier removed due to feedback. Signal range is no longer cut in half.
  

[h3]Maps[/h3]
Night battles will unfold on the following transformed maps:

• NEW! Fjords.
  
• Glacier.
  
• Sand River.
  
• Lakeville.
  

All maps will feature a pale moon glowing in the sky and a few other light sources.



[h3]Battle Rules[/h3]

• You can play in any Tier VIII or Tier X vehicle.
  
• Battles are 15v15 and single-tiered.
  
• Platoons are available, and all Platoon bonuses apply.
  
• You cannot complete missions except those created specifically for the mode.
  
• Credits and XP can be earned.
  
• Battle Pass Points and bonds cannot be earned.
  
• All types of Reserves (Personal and Clan) can be used.
  
• XP multipliers for the first victory of the day do apply.
  
• Credits are added to the Credit Reserve.
  
• Gold is not added to the Gold Reserve.
  

[h3]Battle Modifiers[/h3]
In this mode, players can expect a special set of battle modifiers that will change the familiar game rules.



[h3]Rewards[/h3]
Roll out quietly in your sneakiest vehicles and prevail subtly, Commanders!

This event has a simple progression you need to complete by the early morning of July 8. It allows you to earn a host of attractive rewards, including 2 unique crew members and cool customizations.

[h3]Tankfest Special Chapter: How it Works[/h3]

• The Tankfest Special Chapter will run for 3 weeks. This event will give you a taste of Tankfest, even if you can’t attend it live.
  
• To start your progress, activate this Chapter manually in the game client.
  
• Chapter's progression system comprises 25 Stages and works the same way as in the main Chapters but for a limited period.
  
• You earn Battle Pass Progression Points according to the standard rules based on the battle results.

Battle Pass Tankfest Special features 2 unique Wargaming employee crew members with voiceovers, plus additional rewards.
