The registration process on Steam is easy—download the game, click “Play,” choose the nickname you’d like for your account, and you’re ready to roll out! However, after this process, your new account is not fully integrated into our WG ID system yet and has a few limitations.

To remove them, you can complete the registration by adding an email address and a password to your account. At first, this step might seem insignificant and not worth the effort (even though there hardly is any effort at all!). But, in fact, completing your account registration can add a lot to your regular game experience.

Let’s find out all the details together in this article!

Adding an email and a password to your account gives you a range of additional benefits to enjoy:

[h3]1. Activate Invite and Bonus codes [/h3]

Invite codes are a great way to boost your progress when you’ve just created an account: You can activate an invite code during the first seven days after account creation, which will give you a bunch of goodies that can be quite useful early in the game. For example, our current active invite code GOWOTSTEAM rewards you with 7 days of WoT Premium Account, a Tier III Premium tank with a trained crew, two Garage slots, 400,000 credits, and two rental Tier VI and VII Premium tanks for 10 battles. Go ahead and activate it now if you are just starting your journey in the game!

Bonus codes provide different rewards and can be activated on the player’s account at any time, and they also vary in their validity periods and activation requirements. One bonus code can be activated only once per account, but you can activate multiple different bonus codes on the same account!

After completing your account registration, you can activate them directly in the Wargaming Game Center Steam. And we have prepared a special bonus code STEAMPREM for you to test out: Activate it and get 1 day of WoT Premium Account!

1. Go to Wargaming Game Center Steam.

Tournaments represent the competitive side of World of Tanks and are a great source of fun, excitement, and valuable rewards.

Adding your email lets you participate in tournaments, boost your skill by going against other determined players like yourself, and, of course, win gold or other great rewards by taking the prize places!

[h3]3. Participate in the Referral Program[/h3]

Invite your friends to become your Recruits, play together, and earn heaps of rewards, ranging from bonds and customization to Premium vehicles!

Alternatively, you can find a more experienced Commander to guide you on your Tanker path and become a Recruit yourself.



[h3]4. Access the Game Portal and Forum[/h3]

Keep your account management easy and straightforward by logging in to your Personal Profile with your email and password. Changing the password, adding a phone number or a two-factor verification for extra security, managing your subscriptions, and other important functions will be easily accessible from your Profile.

Also, after adding your email, you can use our Forum to discuss important topics or find a team for a tournament.

[h3]5. Log in on the Clan Portal and compete on the Global Map[/h3]

Join a group of fellow tankers as passionate about the game as you are. Explore new tactics and strategies with your clanmates and master your skills in training rooms, or land on the Global Map to challenge other clans and battle together for fame, valuable in-game resources, exclusive tanks, and unique medals!



[h3]6. Get a bunch of goodies for binding your email![/h3]

Let’s not forget the most fun part: After adding your email, you will get 300 gold, 150,000 credits, and 2,000 Free XP. Sounds like a great deal!



Combined with the bonus code we discussed earlier, we get a nice pack of resources that will be useful for any tanker out there. And keep in mind that bonus codes pop up quite frequently in various community activities and events, so complete the account registration if you don’t want to miss out on any of the free stuff!

So, how does one complete the registration? It is extremely easy: All you need is an email that is not used for any other Wargaming account on the same server and a few seconds of your time.

Let’s take a closer look at this top-tier addition and discover its strengths and weaknesses.

The parameters displayed are valid for the vehicle with each crew member trained to 100% major qualification level. Some vehicle characteristics can be further improved with the Commander's bonus to major qualification level, crew perks, and skills, as well as special in-game items.

[h2]Firepower[/h2]



The Object 780 is a maneuverable assault heavy tank with a powerful 130 mm cannon. It has remarkable gun handling stats for a heavy tank, including 530 HP alpha damage, an aiming time of 1.9 s, 0.35 m dispersion at 100m, and over 2,200 DPM. Combined with decent gun depression and elevation angles—especially for a Soviet tank—the Object 780 is a threat from almost any distance.

[h2]Survivability[/h2]



300 mm thick turret armor, small lower and upper glacis plates, and well-sloped frontal armor make it hard for opponents to crack the Object 780 head-on. Take advantage of terrain irregularities and safely fire from cover, or team up with reliable allies and hold the front line. But keep in mind that the HP pool is not very impressive, and the rate of fire is not the highest, so don’t get into duels unless you're sure you can come out victorious.

[h2]Mobility[/h2]



The Object 780 has an excellent power-to-weight ratio, accelerates quickly, and can maintain its top speed. However, with a top speed of 45 km/h, it won't win many cross-map races, so it's better to choose one direction at the start, hold a flank, and shield your allies from light and medium tanks.

[h2]Destructibility[/h2]



While the Object 780 seems like an intimidating beast, it's not without its weaknesses. Whether you're at the helm of the Soviet heavy tank or have to face it on the field, it's good to be aware of its shortcomings.

The tank is very compact, so the internal modules are located close to one another. This makes it easy to receive critical damage. Consider spending one equipment slot on Modified Configuration.

The underplate is a good way to punish an Object 780 commander that peeks too far over a ridgeline. Hit the fuel tank located near the front of the tank, and you might even set it on fire. Conversely, if you're looking down at an Object 780, aim for the cupola to score a penetrating shot. Try to approach enemies from the front and on relatively even terrain.

[h2]Equipment[/h2]

Check out the setup below to ensure the maximum performance of your tank.



Try the brawler setup with Improved Hardening, Vertical Stabilizer, and Gun Rammer if you prefer a more hands-on playstyle. The boost to the HP pool will be more than welcome in close enemy encounters.

The alternative setup uses Improved Ventilation, Gun Turbocharger, and Modified Configuration to boost the strength of the vehicle. Combined with Field Modification, you can increase the DPM, reduce the aiming time, and improve gun accuracy to make the Object 780 an even better support heavy tank.

[h2]Crew Skills[/h2]



The three-person crew layout means that the commander and gunner have to double as the radio operator and loader. But despite the atypical configuration, the first skills remain fairly standard with Sixth Sense, Brothers in Arms, and Repair. Use the fourth skill to boost the vehicle’s strength and balance out some of its shortcomings.

During this event, players will receive three different sets of missions: one per each week of the event. You will have exactly one week to complete the weekly missions and get the rewards. Once the week is over, another set of missions will become available and any unfinished ones from the previous set will expire. During the week, missions are completed one by one, which means that you need to finish the first weekly mission to move on to the second one.

To find them in the game, go to the “MISSIONS” tab in your Garage and scroll down to the section named “The Survivors”. There you will find this week’s missions, your progress and the rewards for completion.

The missions are designed to encourage players to be efficient and helpful to their team, all while keeping your vehicle functional until the very end of the battle. To put it simply, you need to win and survive!

The rewards for missions include personal reserves, credits, directives and days of WoT Premium Account: definitely worth the effort!

The TOG II* is very famous in the World of Tanks community for being a bizarre and unusual vehicle. The jokes about this monstrous project of British engineers will never go out of fashion, but the tank itself is no joke! Giant and slow it may be, but its gun is accurate and fast-firing, and it has the largest HP pool among its tier! Overall, the experience of roaming the battlefield on this colossal vehicle is hard to describe: one should try it out for themselves!
