Event Summary
• Battles take you back to Mirny-13, an abandoned research town. The contamination by Mirium—a substance with unexplained properties—has entered its next stage. This has had a visible effect on the area and the strange and aggressive entities that dwell there.
 • Before the battle starts, you can choose from three difficulty levels: Normal, Hard, or Nightmare. At the beginning of your campaign, you can only choose the Normal difficulty. Winning a battle on Normal will unlock the Hard difficulty. Once you prevail on Hard, the Nightmare difficulty will become available to you.
 • Fight as a team or Platoon of up to five players (Recon Squad) choosing from six specially adapted vehicles. Three of them are available at the start, and you can unlock the rest after completing certain Progression Stages or purchasing special bundles.
 • Combine consumables to empower your vehicle (and those of your allies). Match the gameplay specifics of different tanks and your tactics to increase your chances of survival.
 • Fight a variety of AI-driven armored enemies, each with their own unique behaviors, roles, and attacks.
 • Collect Mirium and deliver it to the special device called Magnus (shown on your minimap) before time runs out.
 • Once Magnus is filled with the required amount of Mirium, you will be teleported to a new Phase. Regardless of the difficulty level, there are four sequential Phases in a battle.
 • The fourth Phase of any Mirny: Lost Hope battle is a boss fight. The Immortal is the ultimate foe on Normal difficulty, and even more formidable enemies with unique abilities and tactics will confront you at the end of Hard and Nightmare difficulty battles.
 • If even a single player makes it to the next Phase, all the destroyed vehicles on the team respawn with 50% of their maximum HP. Survivors’ vehicles start the new Phase with 100% of their maximum HP.
 • At the beginning of each Phase, you will receive a random Anomaly that provides a unique bonus to your vehicle. The effects of Anomalies are not lost if your vehicle gets destroyed. If you make it to Phase 4, you will begin it with four active Anomalies.
 • While advancing through Phases and difficulty levels, you unlock Reels with encrypted information on the latest developments around Mirny-13 and the darkest secrets of this grim place. Decrypt Reels using Keys you obtain playing in the mode.
 • When you decipher a Reel, you also receive various goodies. Decrypting all 15 Reels brings you the ultimate prize: the Obsidian.

Mirny: Lost Hope—Time to Learn the Truth!
Mirny: Lost Hope begins!
October 18 at 06:30 UTC
Briefing Missive
Class: Top Secret
Location: Command HQ
Report to: Colonel Simić, Military Ops Head for Mirny-13

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
Commander,

The situation in Mirny-13 is dire.

The planned withdrawal of military personnel and equipment from Mirny was performed on schedule, leaving only the science team in the area. Five days later, our scouts registered an energy spike in the ruins of the city: someone or something activated Magnus, spawning a new interdimensional rift. Within minutes, there was a sharp increase in hostile activity in the area, with multiple sightings of new types of anomalies and Mirium-infused armored vehicles. Mirium itself became more agitated, producing rapidly growing crystalline structures. This could be related to personnel in the field reporting severe levels of psychological stress—which they attributed to perceived mental pressure from an external source.

The Command needed not only observations, but also an explanation for what was happening. We believed we could get some from Hope, the head of the science team. Ever since this whole mess started, we tried to establish radio comms with her, but failed. We couldn’t immediately locate her in Mirny, either. Then came new reports—of a young woman walking among enemy tanks unharmed. The machines were obviously aware of her presence, as they reacted to her and modified their behavior after she approached them. The descriptions and photos of the woman matched those of Hope.

Having realized that our best Mirium expert had committed an act of treason, the Command dispatched a special team to arrest Hope. This detachment was led by Captain Martin Novak, a Mirny-13 veteran. Novak’s squad was last seen entering the rift. Communication with them was lost shortly after and hasn’t been re-established as of now.

The special circumstances we’re in require that we deploy our elite units—including your team. You must locate Novak’s squad and assist them in their mission—or take the mission over if the first objective isn’t met. We can assume that you will encounter new threats in the multiple layers of the anomalous area.

Keep your eyes peeled and remain level-headed no matter what. Good luck out there, Commander. You and your squad will need it.

Elite Levels: Show Off Your Experience Before the Battle Even Begins!

Every Commander has their favorite vehicles. They may be fully decorated with progressive decals and have the rarest awards, but you still enjoy playing them as much as you did the very first time. So how can you display your immense experience in these vehicles when they’re already at their best? That’s where the Elite Levels system comes in!

This new achievement system indicates your experience in a particular vehicle. It’s simple: the more experience you have earned in a vehicle, the higher its Elite Level. Let’s see how it works.
Elite Levels: Let the World See Your Wealth of Experience!
Elite Levels don’t provide you with any combat advantages or any additional rewards. Instead, they highlight your wealth of battle experience and let everyone see how well you know your vehicle. They are your personal point of pride and show how much of the most valuable resource—time—you have invested in your favorite vehicles.

The Elite Levels system will be introduced in Update 1.22.1 and only applies to Elite vehicles at Tier V and above. To achieve Elite status in a vehicle, you need to research all its modules and the subsequent vehicle(s) within its Tech Tree branch. After that, all the Combat XP you have earned in this vehicle will count toward the vehicle’s Elite Level.

Don't forget that all Premium and reward vehicles come with Elite status by default.

The main purpose of this system is to be visible to other players, so Elite Levels will be shown as a numerical counter:
 • In the vehicle’s stats

 • In the team panels in battle*

 • On the Platoon screen

*You can adjust the width of team panels to display your preferred Elite Levels visualization in battle.
Progressing Through the Elite Levels
There will be 350 Elite Levels in total. To increase your level, play in any regular in-game mode and battle type, where your Elite vehicles will earn Combat XP. Depending on the amount of Combat XP earned, you will receive special Elite Points. After you earn a certain number of Elite Points, your current level will be updated automatically, and you'll receive a notification in the Garage.

The more battles you play and the more Combat XP you earn, the higher your Elite Level will be. As your level increases, the color and design of the level icon will also change.

You can always check the current Elite Level of any vehicle in the Garage, as well as your progress toward the next level. You can also see your top vehicles with the highest Elite Level values in the Service Record tab.

Your Elite progress is based on all Combat XP previously earned by your vehicles in Random Battles only, minus XP for researching modules to reach Elite status. After Update 1.22.1 goes live, it will only include pure Combat XP earned in battle in any game mode.

Once reached, all Elite Levels are always with you, so you will never lose them.

If you don't want other players to see your current Elite Level, enable the Anonymizer in the game settings.

Get ready to climb the Elite Levels and let everyone see how experienced you are, Commanders!
