Welcome to our latest look at some of the new features, updates, and upcoming events that our developers are currently working on. We already teased the new line of British wheeled vehicles in April, and they will soon roam the battlefields. Now it's time for a glimpse at the new Japanese heavy tanks, the next line in development.

For the past two years, we’ve been extremely lucky to team up with one of the most outstanding figures to ever live—Arnold Schwarzenegger. He has been and still is an inspiration to many, and to mark the legend’s upcoming 76th birthday, we’ve prepared a present for you. For those who fancy wielding big guns, the M47 Iron Arnie signature tank returns to the in-game Store as part of several bundles. Choose whichever one you like best!

The M47 Iron Arnie's potent 105 mm cannon features an excellent 230/300/53 mm of penetration, 320 HP of damage, and −10 degrees of gun depression, letting you punch holes in your opponents.

The impressive-looking spaced armor on its turret offers excellent protection against incoming HEAT shells, while the reinforced hull provides steely resistance against cursory enemy barrages.

Welcome to the old-school Steel Hunter—a special game event with time-tested mechanics!

This event, which will run twice—from July 31 through August 7 and from August 21 through August 28—returns us to the good old Steel Hunter that both new and veteran players will enjoy. No more gameplay experiments—just adrenaline-fueled clashes in the classic battle royale format and useful in-game rewards! Read up on all the details!

[h2]Event Summary[/h2]

• You are one of 20 players fighting for victory. It’s every Hunter for themselves!
  
• Choose to fight solo or join one of 10 two-player Platoons.
  
• The total battle time is 15 minutes. Before each battle, you can choose from several spawn points on the map. Survive at all costs and destroy all enemies to become the last victorious Hunter standing!
  
• Collect special objects (loot) that randomly spawn on the map. These objects contain resources, Combat XP, and Combat Ability charges. You can also pick up loot from destroyed vehicles (Spoils of War).
  
• The most valuable loot type is the Airdrop. Many players will want to get their hands on Airdrops, so you'll have to push yourself to the limit to get to them first!
  
• Eight special vehicles with unique abilities will join the hunt. All vehicles will be available for free.
  
• You'll be able to upgrade your vehicles while in battle and get stronger with each new tier.
  
• Battles will unfold on three huge maps, the playable areas of which will shrink with time. Escape the Destruction Zones that will gradually cause damage until your vehicle is destroyed.
  
• Steel Hunter has its own in-game currency: Steel Seals. You can exchange Steel Seals for unique customization items available in the mode’s Store.
  
• The event’s Progression is based on a system of easy daily missions. Complete them to move through Progression Stages and earn in-game rewards.
  
• The Progression will be reset between the mode launches, so you can receive double the rewards!

[h2]Daily Missions and Rewards[/h2]

The event’s Progression, which you can complete once per launch, has 12 Stages and is based on a system of easy daily missions. Check them out.



When you complete the main progression, you will unlock an additional progression with its own missions and rewards.



Complete these missions to move through Stages and earn useful in-game rewards below:


You will also earn Battle Pass Points based on your position in the post-battle ranking.

Do you think a "Collectathon" tag is right for World of Tanks? Are visual components, such as “Historical” or “Realistic,” important to you? Maybe you like the experience of tank driving or contests with worthy rivals? Tell us more by adding tags you think are a good fit for World of Tanks, and we'll grant you one Community Token that you can use to claim various rewards in-game!


[h3]How to Suggest Tags for World of Tanks[/h3]

1. Go to the Store page.
   
2. Find the "Popular user-defined tags for this product" section on the right-hand side of the Store page, and then click the "+" symbol.
   
3. Select tags from existing ones by clicking the "+" symbol next to the tag, or create your own tags.
   
4. Share your tags in the comments under this post.
   

NOTE: During this event, the reward will only be granted once, regardless of the number of tags suggested or added. It may take us a couple of days to collect and process all the participants, so don’t worry if you don’t get your Token immediately after the event ends.

[h3]Steam Community Shop and Community Tokens: How It Works[/h3]

Community Tokens are a special currency that you earn by being an active member of the World of Tanks Steam Community and by participating in various events and activities.

You can spend your Tokens in the Steam Community Shop in-game to select the rewards you need (rather than a predetermined reward, as it used to be).

To find the Steam Community Shop, log in to the game, enter the Depot from your Garage and open the “Homefront Supplies” tab. There, you will find the Steam Community Shop with all available rewards and their cost in Community Tokens.

Update 1.21.1 is coming your way, to bring you exciting events, Commanders!

Starting from July 21, an additional time-limited Battle Pass Chapter will become available. If you complete it within the given timeframe, you will get a brand-new Tier VIII Premium Polish heavy tank for free! At the start of August, you'll also have the opportunity to experience the exciting Overwhelming Fire event, featuring eight modified vehicles with automatic cannons. Finally, this summer, clan players will be able to take part in the new Maneuvers event with fresh gameplay mechanics.

[h2]The Overwhelming Fire Event[/h2]

Summer has arrived, but it's going to get even hotter in World of Tanks! This August, get ready to take part in an exciting event, Overwhelming Fire! It will feature eight modified vehicles of the same tier but different types, all equipped with fast-firing automatic cannons. Each of the eight modified vehicles has its own strengths and features unique gameplay.


August is a great time to play unusual tanks, so don't miss out!

[h2]Battle Pass Additional Chapter[/h2]

While you're waiting for hurricane battles in the Overwhelming Fire event, you'll be able to complete an additional Battle Pass Chapter in the meantime, right after the release of Update 1.21.1! Kicking off on July 21, this time-limited Battle Pass Chapter is much like a standard one, but it has the 56TP, a Tier VIII Premium Polish heavy tank, as a free final prize among its Base Rewards.

In addition to the tank itself, the Base Rewards Track will bring you other useful prizes, including:

• Up to 1,500 bonds
  
• Bounty Equipment
  
• Personal Reserves

You can purchase the Improved Pass for this Chapter using either gold or Free XP. After purchasing the Improved Pass, you will unlock the Improved Reward Track with a bunch of cool extra rewards, including:

• Up to 15 days of WoT Premium Account
  
• Free XP
  
• Personal Reserves for credits
  
• And more!
  

But that’s not all! If you complete the Improved Rewards Track, you will get the "Carmen de Bisonte" style, a unique customization for the brand-new Polish heavy. This style is the final Battle Pass prize, and comes together with a daily combat mission with a random reward from a predetermined list.

This mission is active for 110 days from the start of the challenge. The sooner you get this brand-new heavy and its unique style, the more opportunities you will have to try your luck and get useful daily rewards!

[h2]The Maneuvers Event[/h2]

In mid-August, an experimental 7v7 clan event called Maneuvers will take place in the game client. This big event will feature fresh gameplay mechanics and bring something new for everyone, so don’t miss out on the experiment! The Maneuvers event represents an opportunity to showcase your battle prowess and obtain a bunch of worthy prizes, including a Tier X vehicle as a main reward. Get ready to participate, prove your mettle in intense battles, and grab cool rewards!
