3. At the end of the event, we will analyze the data and announce the winners.
   
4. If two players have the same number of achievements unlocked at the end of the event, the player who got their achievements faster will have the priority.
   

[h3]Event Prizes [/h3]

The prizes for this event are definitely worth the effort—you can get days of WoT Premium Account, Universal Crew Books, and boosters for faster progress in the game. And the top three tankers that will prove to be the best at achievement hunting will receive a special treat: the Tier VIII Premium Italian Bisonte C45 heavy tank. This beast has a 3-round autoreloader with great damage and penetration values, as well as decent armor and good speed for a heavy, making it a perfect vehicle for hunting down enemy tanks—a well-deserved prize for the best achievement hunters!

But what if you don’t end up in the top 50 of the leaderboard? Don’t worry! If you did well during the event and unlocked at least 20 achievements, you will receive a guaranteed prize with some boosters for quicker advancement in the game. And if you managed to collect 40 or more achievements, we will triple the number of boosters and add three days of Premium Account on top! This reward can be received by anyone that didn’t score in the top 50 and completed the required conditions.


But that’s not all! Let’s move on to the second activity, where every participant that completes the conditions will receive a prize.

[h2]Activity #2: The Show-off [/h2]

From October 14 at 11:00 UTC through October 24 at 11:00 UTC.

Our second event starts together with the first, but it’s even easier to participate in. All you need to do is complete a few simple steps:

1. Take a screenshot of your Steam profile that shows you unlocking any World of Tanks achievement.
   
   
2. Post it on your social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter) with the hashtag #WoTSteam and your Steam username.
   
3. Make sure that your social media account is not private—we will need to check it to see if conditions are met.
   
4. Send a link of the post in a private message to our Community Manager PeaceSoldier on Steam.
   

NOTE: One player can get one reward per account. Even if you post your screenshots on several social media platforms or post several screenshots on one, you will still receive only one reward when the event is over.

After the event has finished and we have checked all the entries, everybody who completed all the steps correctly will receive two days of WoT Premium Account. You can get this reward AND the reward for the first event, so make sure to take part in both!

NOTE: Participating players must have their World of Tanks accounts associated with Steam to receive the rewards.

We are excited to bring you a long-awaited feature that we’ve been working on hard for the last couple of months - Steam Achievements. A total of 59 nice and shiny achievements are already in the game for the taking, so get ready for the hunt!



In this article we will tell you all that you want to know about the newly added achievements – mechanics, details and answers to all your possible questions – as well as provide a general overview. Let’s dive into it!

[h2]General Information [/h2]

If you are new to Steam or, by any chance, not familiar with the Achievements concept, let us briefly explain. Achievements are optional unlockable features with different conditions related to your game progress, playstyle, certain milestones in the game etc. They are unlocked by meeting these conditions in the game or by interacting with the game in particular ways. When you get an achievement, you will receive a special Steam pop-up telling you what achievement you’ve just unlocked.

You can later display that achievement in your Steam profile to show how good you are in World of Tanks or just to brag to your Steam friends who haven’t managed to get it yet. And, of course, do not forget about that heavenly feeling when you have 100% of the achievements unlocked!

World of Tanks now has 59 available achievements. The achievements are closely tied to in-game progress, so you can get them all by actively playing the game, progressing through the tech trees and improving your battle skills. And don’t worry – we aren’t going to ask you to destroy a Maus 1000 times when playing as the MS-1 or to eliminate 16 enemy tanks in a single random battle. The achievements have been carefully designed to be possible and realistic for all players. Some of them may be harder to get than others, but don’t expect any impossible achievements with insane conditions.

[h2]Mechanics and Details [/h2]

To help you understand exactly how the Achievements feature will work in different possible scenarios, we’ve prepared answers to the most important questions.

Q: Is all my progress before the Achievements release considered?

A: When we were developing the Achievements, our main concept was to make sure that they all can be completed by every single player. Most of the achievements are really easy to get, but there are some that will require some time to obtain. The captivating process of unlocking achievements, tracking your progress, hunting down “that last one” can be an extremely interesting experience. We feel that taking it all away from you by just giving them out based on your previous progress will mean robbing you of that sense of exploration and accomplishment. That’s why previous game progress will not be taken into account after the Achievements release.

However, our players already have outstanding results which we simply cannot leave without recognition, so we would like to reward your efforts and skills regarding some particular achievements. Thus, with the feature release, everybody who managed to complete the required conditions will receive the following achievements:

Q: Is the Achievement progress shared between all regions?

A: No. If you have two accounts on different regions, they will have separate achievements progress. However, Steam will display only the highest achievement progress for all regions. To help you understand this better, let’s look at an example:

A player has two accounts – an EU account and an NA account. On each account he has different progress on a certain Achievement, but on his EU account the progress is bigger than on his NA one. In this case, the EU progress bar will be shown for both accounts:


If the player stops playing on his EU account and starts grinding this achievement on his NA account, he will not see any progress in the achievement progress bar until the progress surpasses that of his EU account. As soon as the progress on the NA account is bigger, it will be displayed in Steam instead:

Q: Will there be more achievements added in the future?

A: Achievements have just been released: explore them and rise to the challenge! The future of achievements is in your hands. After all, if you like them and want even more, feel free to let us know and share your ideas and suggestions.

Q: Will there be an achievement for unlocking all the achievements?

A: Right now, we do not have such an achievement for one simple reason: what if our players would like to see more achievements? We do not want to limit ourselves by adding a “final” achievement and will be paying a lot of attention to your reaction to this feature and your thoughts and ideas about its future.

Q: Do I get any prizes in the game when I unlock an achievement?

A: No. The achievements are designed to allow you to showcase your mastery in World of Tanks and share high results with friends and gaming communities in Steam, as well as guide you in your journey to becoming a skillful player.

Q: How much time do I need to get all the achievements?

A: We would like to emphasize again that we designed the achievements in such a way that every player is able to get them all. Of course, there are the easier ones and ones that will require a bit of extra effort, but we wanted to make the feature enjoyable and fun, so let’s just say that you won’t need to grind them for thousands of hours.

We hope you’re enjoying our Return of the Waffenträger event, in which you command wicked Engineer Max von Krieger’s improved Blitzträger auf E 110 or battle as part of the international crime-fighting Harrier Squad in adrenaline-fueled 7v1 battles. But there is an extremely rare version of this monstrous machine—the E 220—that will only be available to select Wargaming employees and famous content creators.



If you and your team manage to destroy the Blitzträger auf E 220, everyone on your team will receive an exclusive medal and one Engineer’s Starter.


The Blitzträger auf E 220 has the same combat parameters as the E 110 but features a unique camouflage pattern, so you’ll be able to identify it instantly.
