The World of Kungfu Demo is Now Live on Steam!

[h3]Suggestions for playing the demo[/h3]
- Resolution
For an optimal DEMO experience, we suggest opting for a 16:9 screen resolution. Ahead of the official release, we'll fine-tune compatibility for other resolutions, including 16:10 and ultra-wide screens. Additionally, while controller support isn't currently available in the demo, we're actively working on enhancing controller and keyboard shortcut functionality for the full release.
- Language
Simplified Chinese is currently the only language supported in the game's EA version, but the full release will also support Traditional Chinese and English. Stay connected with us on social media for any updates.
[h3]The Demo Features:[/h3]
1. The Xiangyang area to explore! The main storyline concludes after the battle at the inn in Jiangxia, but exploration remains open after the storyline.
2. 6 Wanted Quests
- After completing the White Impermanence storyline, you can unlock 6 new wanted quests by visiting Sheriff Li of Xiangyang.
3. Character Progression
- Character level cap at LV.100.
- Customize your player character's initial stats by allocating points to STR, AGI, etc, and choosing up to 3 traits. Alternatively, leave your points and traits to chance and let destiny take control!
- Traits are equipable effects that boost your character's certain attributes while reducing another.
- Earning yourself a title in the World of Kungfu grants you corresponding traits. Different titles provide additional attribute bonuses, and titles can be changed or removed.
- The more you play, the stronger you get! Per playthrough, you gain an extra point for allocation and 1 extra Lock Count (which prevents an attribute from changing during a re-roll).
4. Portraits of main characters. Portraits of main NPCs will be added in official version 1.0.

The Rumor Compendium aids in understanding the World of Kungfu's lore and history.
7. World Map
Clicking on any location allows for fast travel.
8. Followers
- Enemies under special conditions can aid your side for a set number of rounds during battles.
- If you have specific items and initial traits, certain enemies have the potential to become followers after battles.
- Recruiting certain followers grants your character special traits, enabling your followers to frequently trigger assist attacks during battles.
Note: Apart from those met while completing the main storyline, all wild enemy creatures and animals are eligible to become followers, with attributes randomized.
9. Combat System
- You can encounter random battles anywhere on the map, whether in a maze or grassland, where you might unlock a special side quest or hidden NPCs!
- Feeling intimidated by the enemy? No worries, you have backup plans - rebattle (by pressing ESC) or flee.
10. Unique Combat Mechanics and Features
- Unique effects such as dizziness, blindness, and fear can be inflicted upon your enemies during battles.
- Knockback distance is proportional to damage dealt; critical hits can significantly push enemies back.
- In the battle, enemies knocked into water drown instantly.
11. Mining
- Explore cave mazes to mine ore, which can be used for future equipment upgrades.
- Rare discoveries during mining can be pawned for valuable items and coins.
