Hello folks, today we’ve got great news for you! 

Release Date

Sons of Valhalla is about to be released! 
The concrete release date will be April 5th 2024. We have spent the last few months to implement some player feedback and we really hope that you will like our final SoV. 
But that's not all - even after the release we still have a lot of stuff planned! We will add additional free content to shed some light on the backstory of some characters. 
While you are reading this message, a release trailer has just been released.

Greetings warriors!

Our publisher, Hooded Horse, is celebrating its first ever publisher sale on Steam, and we wanted to mark the occasion with a little peek at some of the stuff we’re working on as we look towards our new release window in 2024.

We thought we’d leave you with a small tease for something we’ve been developing that was highly requested by players during past playtests. Guess who is now going to star in their very own level at some point in the game?

Hello folks!

Unfortunately we’ve got some slightly bad news for you: we have to postpone the release of Sons of Valhalla once again. We're working hard to create the best gaming experience for you, but unfortunately we're not making progress as quickly as planned. We are currently working on the final details to make the game even better. For this reason, we have decided not to release the game until spring 2024 (latest).

We are trying to see something good in the postponement: there’s a lot of competition on the games market at the moment and as game developers we of course have to take this point into account when choosing the release date. Many good games have been released recently; Baldur's Gate 3 and Starfield were and still are played by an enormous number of players. So hopefully many of you will have fun with it for a few more weeks until you can finally enjoy your Viking adventure.
