Spanish soldiers: concept art
Today we want to highlight the advances of our talented group of artists and show what the different designs for Spanish soldiers would be.
The use of breastplates and heavy weaponry from Spanish NPC´s will be common in Mictlan, appealing to historical reliability, but also with elements of fantasy involved.
These heavier soldiers, easily identifiable by the use of breastplates, full armor and weapons such as maces, jaws and halberds, will represent a challenge to anyone who comes across them.
Our concept art team has recreated some of the weapons used by the first Spaniards to arrive in Mesoamerica.
In addition to weapons at close range, you will have to be especially careful with musket projectiles and crossbow bolts.
The Spaniards will be an enemy to fear in the open territories, and you will have to adapt your strategy to deal with the soldiers in the long distances.
