Tzompantli
The sight of a sea of skulls pierced by spears and displayed in front of the temples is one of the frequent images in the codices of many Mesoamerican civilizations such as the Mexica, Maya, and Toltec.
The cult of death that pervades our country sinks its roots into a world where the cycle of life-sacrifice-death becomes a natural process and where there is an acceptance of the short-lived existence of beings and things, and where the upholding existence of the cosmos, the world and men, depends on sacrifices to the Gods, which in return offer their protection.
In Mictlan we will honor this worldview inherited by our ancestors.
Note: This is just a WIP, it doesn't represent the finalized version of our game title, and the end result will be most likely completely different.
