Mayan warriors: concept art
Today we present to you our latest WIP of the Mayan warriors that you will find in the setting of Tulum.
For their creation we took inspiration from elements of the Late Classic (such as the Lubaantun and Peru-Waka boxers), the Terminal Classic (with the influence of Chichen Itza on the shields) and, of course, the Postclassic and the Colony (with the codices, Tulum murals, Santa Rita Corozal and the book by Fray Diego de Landa).
The Mayans feature new elements in their arsenal, such as combat mittens and batons, in addition to the reinforced bandage armor described in the historical-geographical chronicles.
Be prepared to face the lethal arts of the warriors of the south in Mictlan: An Ancient Mythical Tale.

We are launching our Kickstarter campaign, with a minimum of 20K backers (have you registered yet? It only takes a minute!)
