Kukulkan

In this new image, you can see the ruler of the Kupul, with his chief deity, Kukulkan.

The Kupul ruled one of the most important chiefdoms of the Yucatan peninsula during the Spanish conquest, whose power caused the fall of the city of Mayapan, which came before Chichen Itza.

Kukulkan was the chief deity of the ruling lineage of the Kupul. His name translates as the Feathered Serpant. The worshiping of Kukulkan was far common in the theocratic society of the late Classic period and the Postclassic period, where the cultural influences of the central region of Mexico fused with the beliefs of the Maya, sharing unique aesthetic and architectural styles that would be known as the international style of Chichen Itza.

This is just a work in progress, but we're glad to share with you what we're constantly creating to give life to the world of Mictlan!

It would help us immensely if you decide to sign up to our Kickstarter campaign.
In order to launch the campaign, we need at least 20k people to register to the page. It literally takes a minute to do so, but it would mean the world to us.
