Quetzalcoatl's nahual

We hope that you are having an excellent day, Mictecas!

Today we want to show a work in progress: the design of the head of Quetzalcoatl's nahual.
You can appreciate various designs as we seek to highlight the majesty of this wonderful god, maker of civilizations and tragic herald of the conquest.

All of these designs have inspiration from sculptures and codices, with a fantastic touch, as our designers seek to create a unique and different concept.

You can also take a look at this previous post.

We are launching our Kickstarter campaign soon! (have you registered yet? It only takes a minute!)

Chaac

Dear community of Mictlan, today we present you a concept art piece showing a priest impersonating Chaac, Mayan god of rain.

An important part of Mayan religion was the embodiment of deities and animals during rituals that took place on important religious dates, or in events such as ball games. In such events, the performers used to wear masks, head ornaments and scepters that represented lightning to impersonate the deity Chaac.
