OTS & FPS View Improvements
Hey Survivors,
We've been releasing a steady stream of patches since launch focused on direct player feedback. One of the largest pieces of consistent feedback we're receiving is that the OTS and FPS views are currently not in alignment with the typical player's expectations.
We're focusing on the next (potentially few) patches on trying to improve these views. We've set up a discussion forum thread chronicling the project and we encourage you to check it out. These patches will launch on Steam first then move to other platforms as they become more mature and battle tested!
At a high level, we're trying to better integrate free-look into these views via the mouse and thumbsticks, make vertical and horizontal movement/aiming feel more natural and fix other small issues that have been reported. We're also adding more options to the game like direct control over horizontal and vertical sensitivity in these views.
We have a solution well underway now and expect the first patch containing these changes to come in the next few days. After that, we'll focus on follow-up patches to keep addressing player feedback on these views, then explore how we can also make the fixed camera view more usable with different control schemes.
Thanks for playing the game and sharing your feedback! Our journey in the world of Endless Nightmares is just beginning!
