LudoNarraCon Stream 1: Art Stream with Karina

Hey everyone!

We're celebrating LudoNarraCon this year by participating in the sales (the highest sales we have just yet) and hosting a short livestream everyday at 3 pm PT!

For the first day, we're showing you an art stream by our amazing artist, Karina, drawing the exclusive wallpaper included in the Supporter Pack.

Do check the stream and the Supporter Pack!

Nominate What Comes After for the Steam Award

So many amazing games came out this year, and Steam Award is here to celebrate them!

If you like What Comes After, it would mean so much if you nominate us for the awards you feel deserving of for the game.

Help us by voting the game for GDWC (also some news and updates)

Hello everyone,

Hope everybody is doing well. I would like to update you all on a few things:
  1. We just updated the game to fix some grammatical errors in the game dialogue. We apologized for the mistakes, hopefully this update could improve your experience in playing the game in English. (Thanks to our players, Monifa and Sophie, for the help with the proofreading!)
  2. Right now, What Comes After is only available in English and German. As a narrative and dialogue heavy game, this is not an ideal thing to have. Thanks to our players (yet again!), we're going to add new languages for future updates. The languages we're currently working on are Indonesian, Simplified Chinese, French, Spanish, Turkish, and others. Due to the nature of the project, we don't really have any information on when the update can be delivered, but we'll post another announcement once they are ready.
  3. Last but not least, What Comes After is part of the weekly voting for Game Development World Championship! It would mean so much if you could help us by giving your vote through this link, no sign-in required.

That's all for the update.
Thank you!

New updates and bug fixes!

Hello everyone,

First of all, I would like to thank you for your support and positivity.

We just launched the game three days ago and you all have been very positive about it, even when some of you stumbled upon some problems that make the game literally unplayable. For that, we are very sorry and very thankful for your support in helping us finding out the root of the cause.

The good news is, we have found the solution to the problem and all you need to do is update the game and you should be able to play it just fine!

Some changes we made in the update:
  • Fix the black screen problems for some users that use non-US Windows setting
  • Update the German localization with a proper proofreading and editing
  • New option that allows you to turn on/off the screen shake in the game
  • Fix the problem where the ending song is controlled through the SFX slider instead of the BGM slider

That's it for the latest update folks. Once again thank you so much for your support. And to close the announcement I'd like to give a shout out to the beautiful fan art made by one of our player here, do leave a like on the post!
