Cataclismo 1.0 is Now Available!

Early Access has ended, and the battle for Hogar begins. Cataclismo is now out in 1.0 with a 35% discount! The full release includes brick-by-brick fortress building, a 20-hour Campaign, Level Editor, Sandbox, Skirmish modes, and a reworked Survival Mode.

Thanks to everyone who supported Cataclismo during Early Access. Your feedback helped us deliver 14 major patches, bringing the game to its full release today.

[h2]About the v1.0 Update[/h2][hr][/hr]Veteran Hogardians will find that our v1.0 update is teeming with new content and gameplay improvements, including:

  • Campaign Mode – Final Act: 6 new scenarios, concluding Iris’ story (approx. 20 hours total).
  • Survival Mode Overhaul: Rogue-like structure replacing Endless Mode; choose Boost Cards after waves, manage rock-paper-scissors mechanics, and encounter entirely new maps.
  • New Biome – The Depths: A murky biome now playable in Campaign, Survival, Skirmish, and Level Editor.
  • Darkness Mechanics: Strategically illuminate dark areas to combat hidden horrors.
  • Opaline Horrors: Pearlescent enemy variants, more aggressive due to prolonged darkness.
  • Iris Renegade Update: Iris receives a full hero makeover with new Ecos-casting skills.
  • New Skirmish Maps: Two handcrafted scenarios set in the Depths biome.
  • Quality-of-Life Improvements: Better blueprint usability, accessibility settings added (brightness controls, blood disable option).
  • Bug Fixes & Stability: Resolved issues with stability, visual glitches, pathfinding, and UI inconsistencies.

Horde-survival RTS Cataclismo is making the jump out of early access today with its 1.0 launch. A destruction-oriented combination of dark fantasy tower defense and piecemeal base building reminiscent of Lego, the Digital Sun strategy game first arrived in July 2024 and has since earned itself a 'very positive' Steam rating, with 91% of user reviews recommending it. Following more than a dozen major updates since, it's now feature complete for launch, and its Steam release is being joined by GOG and the Epic Games Store.

Also, there might be an archer behind them—but I'm pretty sure it's the wall thing that gives the Horrors sleepless nights in this city building tower defence game (reverse the order of those words if that appeals to you more) which is on the brink of exiting early access...
