Vessels of Decay is a post-apocalyptic action-adventure following the story of Freja and Mud. In this retro-inspired tale, you’ll confront creatures of Scandinavian myth and folklore, and explore the ruins of the civilization they inhabit:

Happy Steam Next Fest kick-off day, friends!

Once again, it's about time for the fabulous Steam Next Fest! Until June 16 an endlessly large number of demos are live here on Steam, connected to hundreds of streams, developer specials, and much more. Exciting times for sure, and you definitely don't want to miss out!

And Vessels of Decay is part of the Next Fest circus as well: The demo covers around 20 minutes of the game's early hours, introducing you to the beautiful post-apocalyptic Scandinavia. It also includes a major mini-boss and boss fight.

Yeah yeah, I know ... It's been a while since I've published the last Vessels of Decay update. December 2022 to be precise. Time flies!

But here I am again, with nothing but good news:

1. Vessels of Decay got 'officially announced' as part of The MIX | Kinda Funny showcase yesterday!
   
2. Aurora Punks and I teamed up with Headup to bring Vessels of Decay to your screens (finally!)
   
3. As part of the announcement, we've put a new playtest live here on Steam that's open to everyone so you can try out Vessels of Decay!

We would of course love to hear your feedback on the playtest! This is really important to us as we want to make Vessels of Decay the best possible experience for you out there. Please share your feedback here in the comments, in the Community Hub or on our Discord server.
