Propelled by the Kaiser's promises, Galicians eagerly volunteered as the primary labor force during the initial stages of intergalactic colonization. They were driven by the prospect of building their cities and securing a substantial portion of a planet called Sophie—a world rich with valuable resources.

Amidst a devastating ecological catastrophe that struck Sophie, the allure of claiming extraterrestrial territories continues to sway. The most tenacious and desperate Galicians, compelled by their unwavering determination to rectify historical injustices and reclaim what they perceive as their rightful domain, resort to questionable means of reaching the planet. These well-armed badasses will stop at nothing as they believe that the riches of the heavenly body belong to them—rightfully and undeniably.

In an alternate early 20th century, the revelation of new sources of energy allowed humans to achieve remarkable progress in space exploration. Initiated by the Austro-Hungarian Empire, conquests of other planets—and their valuable resources—became real.

The enigma of an ecological catastrophe befell a mineral-rich planet Sophie; its inhabitants were forced to leave. Now, the most courageous representatives of the empire and destitute souls venture to Sophie. In these deadly lands of sand and wind, they seek one thing and one thing only: treasures that can change one's life forever. And if blood has to be spilled along the way—so be it.

In Sand, players are thrust into the desolate deserts of the fallen planet Sophie, embarking on a quest to uncover resources and treasures.

To navigate this harsh terrain efficiently, players are provided with the ability to design and modify their own Trampler, a walking mech capable of traversing the islands that were once submerged beneath a vast sea. Your Trampler is your base.

The Trampler serves both as a means of exploration and loot storage. Players can customize their tramplers—from interior design to upgrading their power, armor, and weapons. Team up with other players to pool your resources and create the ultimate movable base in a large open world.

Set against an alternate history backdrop in the year 1910, Sand presents a world where humanity has made astonishing strides in space exploration. Thanks to groundbreaking advancements in discovering new energy sources, the Austro-Hungarian Empire spearheaded interplanetary conquests, blazing a trail of expansion through the cosmos.
