We've got some exciting news and updates about Escape Simulator we want to share with you. First off, we're super grateful for all the support you've given us over the past 2.5 years. It's been an amazing journey, and we're not stopping yet. It’s time for the new chapter of Escape Simulator!

First off, the big reveal: We're integrating VR mode into Escape Simulator! This means every owner of Escape Simulator will automatically receive the ES:VR version for FREE. We believe this approach is not only more fair to our players but also addresses technical challenges, making maintenance more manageable for our small team. Experience your favorite puzzles and adventures in a completely immersive VR environment, at no extra cost. This major update brings a new depth to the gameplay, making your escapes more thrilling than ever.

[h2]Supporter DLC - Get Exclusive Goodies[/h2]



We’ve noticed many of you are looking for ways to further support the game and our team. To answer this, we’ve created the Supporter DLC. This fun little package is a treasure trove for fans, including exclusive digital goodies such as a unique in-game skin, a golden token badge, a digital art book, ES wallpapers, and even the first playable ES prototype version. It’s our way of offering you something special in return for your incredible support!

Since the release, we've been on an incredible journey of growth and expansion. To date, we've added 12 additional rooms, developed 3 DLCs, and released 2 DLCs absolutely free! Looking ahead, this year promises to be even more exciting. We're thrilled to announce plans for at least one more DLC, alongside 2 more free DLCs, ensuring your adventures in Escape Simulator continue to evolve and surprise. With the game evolving and expanding, especially with the addition of VR, we're adjusting the price from $14.99/€14.99/£12.99 to $19.99/€19.99/£16.79 and DLCs from $4.99/€4.99/£3.99 to $5.99/€5.99/£4.99, effective April 14th. We believe this price change better reflects the current value of the game and allows us to keep supporting it long into the future.

However, "The Aurora Treasure" stands out as a unique gem. In a nutshell, you find yourself as the last surviving member of a pirate crew on the quest for the legendary Aurora Treasure in the frozen North. Guided by the enigmatic Dark Compass, your destination is tantalizingly close. With no alternative but to press on or risk freezing in icy waters, the journey unfolds in this gripping escapade.

Brush$troke stands out as one of the most esteemed room builders in Escape Simulator, and this latest creation initially began as an experiment. What started as a casual endeavor to explore new ideas swiftly evolved into an entirely new room that we now have the pleasure of experiencing. Way to go, Brush$troke!

Step into a nostalgic journey as you go back in time to play beloved mobile games from your childhood. This map features four fan-favorite games, with an optional bonus awaiting at the end. Despite a few bugs, the experience remains enjoyable and innovative.

So this is the first time we're adding an "Extra" category to Community Picks because in this category we'll put stuff that's not necessarily a community room, but some creators are making content that helps other builders make community rooms even better.

[h2]LUA scripts ⚙️[/h2]



GG3L is rocking the Escape Simulator scene by taking the Room Editor to the next level with LUA scripts. Ever heard of LUA? It's a cool coding language that spices up games with extra stuff. Escape Simulator didn't have stairs due to its square room design, but GG3L said "no problem" and used LUA to add stairs, elevators, and slopes. It's a great example of how modding can totally transform a game, giving it a fresh twist beyond what was originally planned. Big props to GG3L for their awesome work!

We've also rolled out hotfix #2 (v31704r) alongside the room editor enhancements, squashing some pesky bugs and smoothing out the experience. Here's the changelog:

• Fixed the bug with HUGE ladders.
  
• Versus mode is now fully operational in the Deviation Tower room.
  
• Fixed decimal point errors in the room editor for precise editing.
  
• Enhanced the save system to ensure more reliable updates.
  
• Resolved several translation errors.
  
• Fixed minor audio glitches.
  
• Eliminated the floating candy.
