Thanks everyone for helping us with your bugreports, makes our job much more pleasant. List of fixes:

  • Adjustments made to the cost of implants.
  • Several items in missions would disappear when you loaded a saved game from main menu (particularly bad on Belgrade with several of the first guns you can find being affected), this was caused by a discrepancy in their save profiles compared to their prefabs: corrected this systematically
  • Some consumables weren't saving their hotslot number which is why they weren't going back to slots if you used them and reloaded.
  • Belgrade had a several second window (the duration of the opening cutscene) where you could drop your implants and pick them up before they were removed from your inventory.
  • There's been several reported crashes that have been revealed to be caused by a ragdoll stretching out indefinitely. While the exact cause of this crash is unknown, there is now a failsafe that gets tripped when you load a save from main menu and a corpse is showing signs of stretching his arms out (just for you). This at least should stop the bug from persisting on most save files.

  • Fixed the permanent distortion effect on Belgrade for real
  • Belgrade intro cutscene shouldn't play again when loading from main menu
  • Several updates to item prices and descriptions

Please enjoy the latest Peripeteia patch. List of fixes:

  • If you died sprint toggle would return to default
  • There was an issue with the NavMeshAgent failing on the dolls, causing some of them to be less responsive.
  • Tanks should be less likely to have their turrets 15 meters away
  • If you loaded a save on Belgrade from main menu in certain places you'd get distortion that would never go away, caused by an oversight in the code that meant the effect would never fade in some situations
  • Jerrycan wasn't set up properly for saving
  • Juice wasn't usable
  • Machine gun belts weren't supposed to have save components, was causing them to appear in inventory when loading a save

Looking back, we'll call this period a renaissance for games that are kind of a pain in the ass. Stalker 2, Kingdom Come, Atomfall on the horizon—the gaming public of 2025 wants nothing more than to die face-down in the mud, victims to clockworld worlds that have their own rules and obey them unsparingly...
