v16-hotfix branch is no longer necessary! :)
edit: this is now resolved!
Annoying news!
Steam broke the authenticator in the build pipeline and now I can't publish new updates to the main Zeepkist branch anymore.
In simple words: I can't update the game at the moment!
This is really annoying because I need to push an update (v16p50) that fixes some broken physics.
I uploaded v16p50 to a Beta Branch, where you can still access it! It just takes a little bit of effort to get to it:
- Step 1:
Right click on Zeepkist in Steam, and go to Properties:
- Step 2:
Go to "Betas", and enter code V16HOTFIXBRANCH

- Step 3:
Click this button:
- Step 4:
You should now be in the v16-hotfix branch!
- Step 5:
Close the settings menu and verify Zeepkist looks like this now:
- Step 6:
Play Zeepkist! Everything should work normally from here on out :)
The Steam authenticator has been broken for over 8 hours, which is very strange. I've sent Steam a support ticket asking if they could look into it.
In the meantime, we'll have to use the v16-hotfix branch!
I wish this didn't happen on the day I'm launching a free demo and a DLC but hey Steam moves in mysterious ways...
Happy Zeepkisting!!!
