Known Issues Updates & Fixes

First off, a HUGE thank you! The launch has been incredible thanks to all of you amazing players. We're beyond grateful for your support!
We’re aware that some players are encountering issues, and after investigating, we’ve found that many of these stem from save files carried over from the demo. These corrupted demo saves can cause various problems, including crashes and performance issues.
If you played the demo, here’s how you can resolve the issue:
If you don’t mind starting the game over, we have a quick fix for you. Here’s what to do:
1. Navigate to: C:\Users\X\AppData\Local\StorageHunter
(replace "X" with your username, and note that your drive might differ depending on where you installed the game).
2. Delete the "StorageHunter" folder. ❗Please be aware that this will delete all your saves and progress. ❗
If you are already a more experienced Storage Hunter and do not want to lose your progress.
No problem! We can help restore your save file. Simply send it to us at [email protected] and we will work to fix it as quickly as possible.
To send us your save file:
1. Navigate to: C:\Users\X\AppData\Local\StorageHunter
(replace "X" with your username, and note that your drive might differ depending on where you installed the game).
2. Zip the "SAVED" folder and send it to us.
If you have problems with lags and overall poor performance, it might be related to the demo too. Please, check your settings to see if they are auto-set to Epic. Lowering the settings may help improve the game performance. If nothing helps, join our Discord and share with your PC specs and settings. We will do our best to help you :)

- Unable to upgrade or verify items (tool level stuck at 0)
- Truck missing or inaccessible at the start of the game
- Unable to fuel the vehicle
- Unable to exit the vehicle
- Lags, poor performance
[h2]Other Known Issues We’re Addressing:[/h2]
- Items floating or levitating
- Achievement tracking issues
- Items disappearing from the truck (particularly in front of the pawnshop)
- Vehicles getting stuck under the map
- Teleportation after exiting the vehicle
- Items falling through the floor
- Auctions getting stuck or becoming inaccessible
- Storage lockers not opening after winning an auction (needs further investigation, we only had one case of it; it may be related to demo)
