Dev Diary January

Hi guys!

It’s been quite some time since the last time we’ve updated you on what’s going on with the production of Storage Hunter. I must admit that a lot has happened since then so I bet you’re dying to know what we’ve been up to all this time.

Here’s what’s been done since the last time we checked in:

  • UI Inventory implementation
  • Added item filtering by "rarity"
  • Added items sorting by appropriate parameters
  • Merging branches and fixing conflicts
  • Finished auction generator
  • Refactoring the save system
  • Creating a cheate system and a command input system

Hello everyone!

How’s everyone doing today? Wondering what the Storage Hunter crew’s been up to? I’ve good news for you then - the new dev diary is coming your way! We all know that when it comes to bidding time if of the essence, so let’s get down to business straight away.

Here’s what’s been going on this week:
  • Working on scripts
  • Items identification

  • Disassembling items into reassembled parts
  • Making connectors for separated parts
  • Repairing normals

Dev Diary November

Hi everyone!

It’s a new month, but our team’s still working on the very same project and I think we should start this new month with a good dose of information on what we’ve been working on. Shall we?

Here’s what’s been done:

  • Disassembling items into parts
  • Adding missing meshy walls
  • Dismantling UV in the missing places
  • Parenting to Empty
  • Export as a ready to be replaced file











  • Cleaning models
  • Adding missing partitions, hinges, etc. of elements.
  • Fixing normals, origins, parenting the moving elements to the main part of the furniture.



  • Adding prefabs - supplementing the library
  • Adding the Bidder class - auction participant
  • Fixing prefab bugs entered in addressable

Hello everyone and welcome to the very first development diary in the history of Storage Hunter! If you like reading this kind of stuff then you’re in for a treat as we plan to update you on how’s the development going every week. So let’s get started!

Here are all the cool things we’ve been working on this week:

- research of assets needed to build the scene
- putting up the port scene: foreground and background
- garage design
- pre-rendering











- Implementation of items available to the player during the auction
- Grouping items into categories
- Implementation of a rarity and valuation system







And also UI design for:

- Containers scene (auctions we get to participate in)
- Auction scene
- Map with an auction house selection
- Inventory + the version with enabled item sales
- Icons and hints for different objects in a scene
