Survivor's Diary

Outbreak Island Winter News!

Hello Survivors!

We are pleased to inform you that the production of Outbreak Island is in full swing! We have expanded our team and this has had a positive impact on the quality of the game itself.
At the moment, large-scale work is underway to fill the map. The island has become very large and rich in various locations.
Some of which will only be available at night when the Outbreak turns on the power.

During the day you will feel relatively safe - feel free to explore the area, hunt and gather resources in the forests.

But even in the light of the sun, you can accidentally stumble upon the Nest of monsters - then the battle cannot be avoided.
Although you can always count on your reliable ally - a car, and run away to hell if you want to save ammo for a night walk around the city.
By the way, we have added a new type of car for use with a spacious trunk. It will be very useful to you in surviving on the Island.

We are also working on the mechanics of the Bloody Outbreak, when all the monsters of the Island become very aggressive and can attack your shelter.
Here we will make it possible to resist the attack by fortifying the base in build mode and defending it with the help of traps and bombs.

And be careful! A new type of enemy has been spotted on the Island - "Mutacrab", which can be found on farms, swamps and forests.
They are nimble and dodgy, it is quite difficult to hit them with a firearm. It's good to have an ax or a machete at hand!

Happy Holidays, thank you for being with us, writing feedback and following our progress!

Hello Survivors!

We continue to diligently develop Outbreak Island and are ready to share with you the results of our work and plans for the future!

Important news - the game has switched to a new version of the game engine (from Unreal Engine 4 to Unreal Engine 5). In the future, this will allow rendering a better picture and light, making smooth loading between locations, a new loot saving system, and a more diverse enemy system. As well as additional mechanics, bringing the experience of survival closer to realistic. You could even say that the game will feel completely new!

At the moment we are testing an update with vehicles, adjusting the physics of movement and adding a pinch of fun from knocking down monsters :) Now moving around the Island is much safer! You just need to remember about the timely refueling of your car. And what could be more exciting than to travel in your own car through picturesque places in search of adventure and unraveling mysteries.

Therefore, we decided to fill the island with even more locations and points of interest than previously thought. For the most part, we will keep it secret for now, but you will definitely find a closed military complex with an airfield, a city, a secret underground (or underwater?) laboratory, a construction site, farming settlements and other unique locations.

We are also simultaneously working on in-depth survival mechanics on the Island. Improved player skills, new weapons, new types of enemies with different animations, hunting and gathering, character states and advanced cooking. And of course - mini-bosses!

Now the game is in the active stage of developing planned mechanics, finalizing existing ones and filling the map with locations and events. Stay tuned, follow the news and soon we will have a lot of new things in
Outbreak Island!
