Update #3 (Patch)

[p]Hey everyone![/p][p]I’ve been working on some new item changes, quality-of-life improvements, and fixes. Thanks as always to everyone sharing feedback and testing the game — it really helps me make the world better and more fun![/p]
Changes & Additions
[p]-Old soil bag is now called “Garden Soil Bag” — you can use a crafting station to split one bag into 4 Garden Soils, so 1 bag = 4 plants.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]-More Garden Soil Bags in the world — spawn rate increased![/p][p]-New item: Sleeping Tent — currently uncraftable, but there are about 10 tents on the map (one at your base, on the farm). You can pick it up and place it to save your game.[/p][p][/p][p]-Save using Sleeping Tents (Experimental) — works, but be careful! Avoid placing tents in unusual spots like underwater, between rocks, fences, etc.[/p][p][/p][p]-All garage storages now have a 100-item limit.[/p][p]-Added a “No Autosave” message in the menu for now — I plan to improve saving even more, and may add autosave later if needed.[/p][p][/p][p]-2x more berries in forests — easier to find and gather.[/p][p]-Sink on the farm fixed — you can now fill bottles and buckets properly after upgrades.[/p][p]-Fixed water storage capacity bug — no more random resets to 30L. [/p][p]That’s it for this update!
I’m continuing to work on saving improvements, new items, and balancing, so keep exploring, testing, and sending feedback — it’s a huge help.[/p]

Update #2 (Patch)

[p]Hey everyone!
[/p][p]Another quick update is here — bringing a few new features, quality-of-life improvements, and bug-fixes.
As always, huge thanks to everyone who’s been playing, testing, leaving reviews and reporting bugs on Discord and Steam.[/p]
New Stuff
[p]-All tools in workbenches are now shared — craft a tool in one workbench, and it’ll be available in all others. Everything now syncs properly!

[/p][p]-Coal can now be created using the BBQ Grill — just burn some wood planks.
[/p][p][/p]
Settings
[p]-Added VSync option.
(But for me personally more comfortable play with VSYNC OFF and 60 or 75 FPS Cap, for some reason VSYNC sometimes creates mouse input lag, so try different options and leave feedback, I will look what I can do with that issue)
[/p][p]-Added Fullscreen Windowed (Borderless) mode.[/p][p]-Added Headbob On/Off toggle.[/p][p]-Improved multi-monitor support — fixed some resolution issues.[/p][p]-Extended FOV settings — you can now pick specific field-of-view angles instead of just “Wide” or “Narrow.”

[/p]
Bug Fixes
[p]-Fixed falling through the ground on the 3rd floor of the farm barn.[/p][p]-Fixed collisions and small holes in the Port area.[/p][p]-Fixed landscape holes in the winter zone.[/p][p]-Improved Supporter Pack loading — it should now work properly for everyone.[/p][p]-Quests “Safe Travels” and “Faster and Bigger” now correctly trigger as completed after finishing vehicle modifications.[/p][p]-Supply boxes now properly trigger Steam achievements and Journal challenges when looted.[/p][p]-Story Note at the docks (Lumber) can now be interacted with correctly.
-Story Note at the Bunker can now be interacted with correctly and give proper quest and code.

[/p][p]Big thanks to our awesome Discord community members @Megina, @Prsnr Zero, @Norm4ik, @Aliaga, @Limp, @Arven97, @Wycsword, @BU4U, @Palandus and everyone else who’s been helping out with bug reports, ideas, and testing. You guys are amazing! [/p][p]And thanks to @DankWestern for testing the game on the Steam Deck — your feedback was super helpful! I’m currently working on improved controller support and more Steam Deck functionality, aiming to get that “Deck Verified” green check mark

[/p][p]I’m already working on the next batch of improvements and new content — stay tuned and keep sharing your feedback. Every message, bug report, and idea helps a lot![/p][p]Thanks again for all your support and positivity — you’re awesome![/p]

Update #1 (Patch)

[p]Hey everyone![/p][p]It’s been just one day since launch — and I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who bought and played the game!
Also, big thanks to everyone who left positive reviews and reported bugs both here on Steam and in Discord — this really helps a lot![/p]
First Update — Bug Fixes & Improvements
[p]This is the first small update focused mostly on fixing some critical bugs and improving a few things. Here’s what’s new:[/p]
  • [p]Added a respawn function — if you get stuck somewhere, you can now respawn (available after completing the intro and unlocking the open world, from the pause menu).[/p]
  • [p]Fixed issues with placing wood logs and gas canisters — they sometimes got stuck and couldn’t be placed.[/p]
  • [p]Lowered default mouse sensitivity by about 10–15%.[/p]
  • [p]Improved mouse sensitivity settings — now the range is from 0.1x to 2.0x (previously 0.4x–1.9x).[/p]
  • [p]Mouse sensitivity now affects horizontal (X-axis) movement properly, not just vertical.[/p]
  • [p]Better mouse rotation while climbing ladders.[/p]
  • [p]Added more hidden wood and metal stations around the world — you’ll now find them in places like the junkyard, fishing village, garage, and more. Some work during the day using generators and fuel, others only at night.[/p]
  • [p]Improved vehicle exit logic, so you’ll fall through the ground less often.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some collisions/hitboxes on the sawmill roof.[/p]
  • [p]Automatic underground respawn — if you fall through the map, you’ll be respawned after ~20 seconds (you can still use manual respawn anytime).[/p]
  • [p]Fixed BBQ Grill UI bug (it sometimes showed the water bottle crafting window).[/p]
  • [p]Intro mission death — now if you die during the intro, you’ll just respawn at the start instead of restarting the whole game.[/p]
  • [p]Rendering tweaks for screen tearing issues — I made some improvements, but since I can’t reproduce this bug on my setup, I’d really appreciate if someone who had this issue could test and let me know if it’s better now. (IMPORTANT !!!)

If you will break any game settings and wont be able to restore defaults, you can try this temporary fix: Delete Settings.sav file from C:\\Users\\YOURUSERNAME\\AppData\\Local\\OI_World\\Saved\\SaveGames[/p]
  • [p][/p]
What’s Next
[p]I read all your comments and reviews — thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts!
Sorry if I don’t always reply fast, but I’m doing my best to keep up.[/p][p]Based on your feedback, here are a few things I’m already working on for upcoming updates:[/p]
  • [p]Improve gamepad support and add gamepad key icons (Xbox & PlayStation)[/p]
  • [p]Better saving system — maybe autosave or a way to build your own tent to save anywhere[/p]
  • [p]Add Italian language and fix Chinese (it works, but store page says it’s not supported)[/p]
  • [p]Improve loot drops from enemies[/p]
  • [p]Improve quick weapon/item switching — possibly with assignable quick slots or a radial menu[/p]
  • [p]Add a VSync and Fullscreen Windowed (Borderless) on/off option[/p]
  • [p]...and more![/p]
[p]Check out the roadmap for more info about future plans. [dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p]
This is just the beginning
[p]This is only the start — with your feedback and support, we can make this game much better together. Thanks again for being part of this journey![/p]
