Dev Log #031: 2022-10-16

This week, we continue working on developing game content, including new character cards, and effects, extending the MOD’s capability to profoundly modify the game, and wrapping up chapter4’s dialog translation work
  • We finished creating all the cards and effects of Swine King. Later, we will focus on developing the corresponding music and animations
  • Swine King main builds: Shape Shifting, Eat, Commandment, High Max HP, Bleeding
  • We refactor most of the implementation of cards, consumables, and relics which gives the MOD’s creators the freedom to deeply modify the game’s content and logic
  • We work on the English translation of chapter 4 dialogs. Currently, 1/3 of the work has been done

Next week, we plan to introduce new companions, please look forward to it!

[h2]Balance and Improve[/h2]
  • Cast aside gives a curse card
  • Spirit Cleaver can correctly increase damage in multiple plays such as God of Victory
  • Goddess of Mercy in the omen fight will always stand at 2nd place. Add more description about the seal.
  • Added a convenient dialog for Peach Fairy upgrading cards at the start of combat
  • Absolute Evasion cannot be removed by Apparition
  • Improved Black Lance
  • Flipping and back-facing cards cannot be selected in the card reward menu, to avoid misclick
  • Random attack won't affect the Protected target


[h2]Bug fixes[/h2]
  • Fixed a bug on consumable target picking when the consumable is targeting a single target except yourself
  • Fixed a potential endless Debuff reflecting when using Shackle of Suffering on the High Buddha
  • Fixed tooth for a tooth moves back to hand when healing
  • Corrected Lazy Bear's AI when it is awakened from sleep
  • Fixed the discharge button issue when Shapeshifting, Spirit Shifting, Spirit Pact is retained in hand
  • Fixed a potential draw cards conflict bug
