DLC: Blade Souls is Now Avaiable

Dear players,

We are excited to announce that the first DLC: The Blade Souls is now officially live! This DLC features the complete story mode and new plot for the new heroes - Spirit of Light /Spirit of Dark!

Please note that the DLC is not currently available in English. We are actively working on localization and aiming to have the English version ready before the end of April. Thank you for your support and understanding!

Happy New Year! Thank you for your continuous support and companionship with Journey to the West! In the spring of 2024, we will release the first DLC, in which you will meet the first pair of goddess heros - Blade Souls in the Divinity Realm!

Blade Souls is the first pair of characters with a female lead role and has a dual-soul system, allowing for switching during combats.



Soul System: The higher the Soul power, the less energy. The Light Soul attack cards will consume, and the more energy the skill cards will consume, but they will receive additional bonuses. The Dark Soul, on the other hand, operates oppositely, with her skill cards consuming less energy and her attack cards receiving additional bonuses.



[h2]New Cards[/h2]

Stealding Card: Characters come equipped with theft, allowing them to steal items while inflicting damage, a win-win situation to collect all the treasures along the Journey to the West.

Stun Card: No need to rely on wetness and shock to trigger it; with the right gameplay, passing through without harm is not a problem!



Lost Card: Forcibly confuses bosses/elites, no longer only effective against small fry!



[h2]New Builds[/h2]
  • Combo build: Seven-comboseries, eternal life, endless flow.


  • Poison-Stacking build: Let's stack together (keep the spider away from me).


  • Invisibility build: As long as you're invisible, you'll come with a thousand souls and spirits, along with high burst damage.


  • Infinite build: Draw countless sub-decks.


The Blade Souls will officially released after the 2024 Chinese New Year. We look forward to players developing more gameplay. See you in the new year!

Dev Log #085: 2023-12-20

Starting from December 21st, we have entered the winter promotion season, and we have some exciting discounts to offer! Welcome everyone to purchase our Game as a Christmas gift for your friends! This month, we have carried out a significant amount of material optimization, and the development of DLC is also proceeding well!

Light Blade Soul and Dark Soul will undergo transformation when using specific skills.



We redone the character avatars.



We have added residual effects to the following skills: Wukong's God of Victory, Holy Monk’s Transcendent, Swine King’s Disciplined, White Dragon’s Nirvana, and Faithful Devil’s Return to Origin.

  • Improved the explanation of Living Armor.
  • Slightly strengthened Memory Keeper's skills.
  • Optimized the Evil Barrier effects.
  • A significant amount of material optimization.


[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]
  • Fixed the issue where multiple layers of Magic Shield from Move Flowers and Change Woods caused the game to slow down.
  • Fixed the issue where Guardian Sword Strike became the base effect when cast multiple times.
  • Fixed the issue where the blood reduction effect of Bodhisattva Lin Yin did not stack.
  • Fixed the issue where Memory Keeper’s attack with added vulnerability was not explained.
  • Fixed the issue where the Bat's skill's flying state was not displayed in the wiki.
  • Fixed the explanation issue for the Shadow Fairy.

In November, we opened Trial 22 and made many optimizations and bug fixes.

  • Trial 21 now becomes Nightmare difficulty.
  • Adjust the order of Trials 2 to Trial 8 to make the difficulty curve smoother.
  • The Dark Steel Axe only needs enemies to be defeated to permanently upgrade the hand card.
  • Add gender information to the character wiki..
  • Enhance the Guardian Swords Strike.
  • The Five-Color Heaven Stone only reduces 1 card reward option. Stones from the Sky.
  • Enhance Compassion.
  • Optimize the explanations for adding energy cards.
  • Optimize the explanations for “A Critical Moment” and "Absolute Evasion".
  • When multiple cards are played, the High Buddha’s Endless Universe only triggers once.
  • Add hints for the battle of Jade Emperor and battle with The High Buddha.
  • Enhance the hints when Divine of Justice goes berserk.
  • Adjust the size of the Intent UI.
  • When there are no upgradeable cards, the upgrade of Dark Steel Axe will not trigger.
