#068 Additional Updates: 2023-07-11

We greatly appreciate everyone for providing valuable feedback and suggestions, including Heart Demon, Endless Mode, user interface, and various other aspects! Based on your feedback, we have released some additional updates today, aiming to enhance everyone's gaming experience as much as possible!

[h2]Main optimizations:[/h2]

  1. Enhancements to the Endless Mode
    After optimization, you will receive three random permanent rewards per cycle, compared to the previous one reward. Now you can progress faster, resulting in a more enjoyable gaming experience.



  2. New relic 'Reincarnation Stone'

    We have introduced a new relic called the 'Reincarnation Stone,' which increases the probability of triggering events in unknown locations. The priority of the Reincarnation Stone's activation is lower than that of the Money-Calling Spell, but it has the highest priority apart from that, with an event occurrence probability exceeding 90% but not reaching 100%.

    The purpose is to help you achieve certain accomplishments or trigger special chain events (such as encounters with Master of Light and Shadow, Princess Iron Fan, etc).



  3. In-combat unit size adjustment settings:
    We have added the functionality to adjust the size of battle units in the settings. If you feel that the character models are too large, you can adjust the size of the characters to your liking from the settings screen.



  4. Flight-related optimizations:
    Optimizations have been made to flight-related attacks, making it easier to leverage Shapeshiftings in aerial combat. This includes Harpy, Sky Diver, and others. Note that in the case of these units, the number of attacks may exceed or fall short of the intended number of attacks due to their own frontal flight status. If they don't have a frontal flight status, they will inflict the same number of attacks as the target's current intention.



  5. The Fallen Monkey General is now immune to freezing.




  6. Starting adjustment for Skeleton Rosary:
    With the current battlefield capacity being six, in order to prevent situations where encountering Little Thief Rabbit or Fire Spider at the beginning prevents two elements from moving the target to the back row, Skeleton Rosary has been adjusted from two elements to three elements at the beginning.



  7. New Spirit Compendium:
    We have added the Five Element Spirits of Faithful Devil to the compendium, making it easier for everyone to understand the specific roles of each fairy. Currently, the compendium displays level 3 values(mechanism remains the same from level 1 to level 3, only the values change).

  • Various text bugs have been fixed.
  • Fixed a rendering bug of removed cards during battles has been fixed.
  • Even without intent, the Trial 20 High Buddha will now trigger intent by endless universe trait.
  • The issue of map prompts obstructing mouse clicks has been resolved.
  • The Bone Pile now does not protect Princess Jade.
  • Companions will no longer speak when disabled.



Game optimization

Dev Log #067: 2023-07-07

This is the first week since our full release! We have received a lot of support and love, as well as some constructive feedback! Thank you all for your support! This week, we focus on further enhancing the game experience, fixing bugs, and ensuring a stable version.

[h2]Optimizaion of The Omen[/h2]

Based on your feedback, we have made some adjustments to the mechanism of the Heart Demon. In addition to being sealed through the previous elemental sealing mechanism, the Omen can now also be defeated through direct attacks. Killing the Omen once counts as one level of sealing. It is important to note that each card used will bear the corresponding effect of the Heart Demon's layers. Additionally, the Heart Demon now recovers HP at the end of the player's turn, restoring 50% in Trials 1-19 and 100% in Trial 20.

With the introduction of the new sealing machanism, it is no longer necessary to rely solely on the elements. This aims to minimize the experience of missing turns due to a lack of required elements to seal.

Now, if elites and bosses receive high overflow single-target damage, it will display how many times you have killed the target in total. The higher the damage stack, the more satisfying it is!



[h2]Other Optimization[/h2]
  • We have optimized the skill logic of Master of Thunder Tower (also known as Fa Hai). Now, when using the skill the damage will change along with the transformation of the shield, whereas previously it required the end of the turn for the damage to change based on the shield.



  • Persistent Pays Off is now Innate after upgraded.



  • Optimized the description of some cards, e.g. Ready to Die, Die Together.





[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]
  • Added a delay to the battle dialogue to prevent bugs from occurring
  • Fixed a dialogue abnormality bug caused by God of Victory
  • Fix a bug that Transmutation would trigger Black Hurricane's rage
  • Fix animation issue of Persistent
  • Fix damage of Thunder Tower does not change with Block change
  • Fix the issue that transmutation of Catfish Guardian has no effect
