Development Diary #30 - Smash your ride!

Hello everyone!

Time to let you in on our recent development progress. 

We're back with your favorite - car destruction! Besides the destruction, you may notice that the track is different from the Alpha and the scenery itself is brighter. It's not the final result yet; we're still working on it.

And because of the fact that we decided to switch to daylight, we have a lot of work on lighting on the scenes. Here you can see some work-in-progress: 


We've started working on the Character Creator, so now your player character will be even more yours ;) For now, we have the ability to set gender, height, face, body type, outfit, hairstyle and facial hair.



We also did some work on the settings, which includes:
  • added sliders to the car sound and dialogue
  • separated the resolution and refresh rate separately
  • frame limit
  • option to change between AZERTY and QWERTY

In addition, we've started working on a new car! We were thrilled with your response to the last car, so we hope this one will also live up to the hype!

Development Diary #29 - Car Inspection 🔎

Hello everyone!

Today we want to talk a little bit more about cars. Making your dream car and customization is one of the main premises of the game. So we want to give you a little bit of an overview of what we have worked on so far. 

When making cars, we want to make them as detailed as possible, but at the same time, we don't want to make them too overwhelming for players who haven't reached their prime as mechanics just yet :)

Firstly, let's start with a short movie:

And now let's go over the features we work on in details:

  • Play around with the car weight - removing car seats and carpets, installing roll cage 


  • Remove the door panel and exchange it for a lighter version. This will work great for the racing part of the game.


  • Removing radiator support - it makes a work on engine more pleasant and make the engine easier to remove.


  • Detailed Car Tuning. We believe that - lots of parts = hours of fun.  We don't want to limit your creativity :)


We want the game to be as realistic as possible while maintaining 100% of fun :) We hope you enjoyed our quick overview of the car related features.

Development Diary #28 - New Emilio! New Garage!

Hello everyone!

What a week! We got a lot done, and we are excited to share it with you! 

Remember a good ol' Emilio from Alpha Testing? Well, he had a slight glow-up ;) 

Say Hello to new Emilio! 


The same goes for the starting garage. We are reworking it to fit better with the rest of the game. 


We're also doing some polishing up to the airport map:


Beside that, we have finished our work on the tutorial:


And started working on the steering wheel animation to make it as smooth as possible!

We are also constantly working on the cars to make them as detailed and close to reality as possible.

Development Diary #27 - Your in-game character & destruction!

Hello everyone!

We’re back with yet another update.

This week we focused on further work on your in-game character model. Now you can see their body in game when walking! We still have some polishing up to do, to make it as smooth as possible.

We also have another round of destruction for you because we know how much you like them :) We worked on damage (added particle falling off, the environment reacts a little better to collisions)

Besides that, we worked on:
  • stickers in paint shop - you can add them to several parts at once, edit and color them 
  • adding the tow truck event to the game

Development Diary #26 - Sparks! Meet David and Kate!

Hello everyone!

Last week went by quickly, so here we go with another Dev Diary!

We've got a lot of news to share, so let's start with spark generator. Now sparks will appear during collisions.

It's time for you to meet David and Kate!

David is a player character, a car mechanic, and Kate for the time being is a little mystery, but you surely will get to know her better as the time goes on! 



We are working on the paint shop and stickers. Up until now, in Alpha, you have only been able to paint your car one color in its entirety. We've added the option to paint only selected parts, so there will be even more customization options for you to try! 




We're hard working on polishing and remodeling the desert. We want to share with you some screenshots from the process:
