Hotfix #3

Hey Gearheads!

First off, we want to give a massive shoutout to every one of you in the Underground Garage community! Thank you for your trust, patience, and all the feedback you've given us during this Early Access journey. Your support has been the fuel that's driving us forward and helping make this game as sharp as a well-tuned engine.

Here’s a breakdown of what’s new under the hood:

Quest Fixes:
  • Quest 9 Adjustment: We heard that some of you had issues with Quest 9 not advancing after buying new cars. We’ve streamlined the quest, and for anyone stuck, it will now auto-complete once you return to the garage, keeping you on the fast track.

Workbench & Repair Overhaul:
  • Damage and Repair Strategy: We’ve tweaked how procedural damage works so repairs are more strategic. Key parts like nitro and neons are now untouchable by damage, letting you focus on essentials.
  • Cost of Repairs: Repairs will now require cash and restore partial durability, letting you profit by fixing and flipping parts for a bit of extra hustle.
  • Increased Repair Rewards: Repair missions now pay better, giving you even more reason to jump into the action.

General Fixes:
  • Junkyard Collision Fix: Fixed those pesky collision issues for cars bought at the junkyard.
  • UI Improvements: Enhanced onboarding, early access info, and broken parts display for a smoother experience.
  • Damage System Overhaul: We fine-tuned the damage system to make it more precise and realistic.
  • Car Entry Requirements: To add more depth, you’ll now need all vital parts at or above 70% condition before heading out. This makes your prep work count even more.

Balance Tweaks:
  • We’ve made final balancing adjustments to keep the gameplay flow and your strategic decisions tight and rewarding.

This is just the beginning—next up, we’ll be tackling more bugs, adjusting the build of our cars for realism, refining physics, and diving deeper into the story that powers Underground Garage. Your feedback has made this possible, and we’re thrilled to be on this ride together, achieving something special.

Thanks for helping us hit new gears! Keep the feedback coming, and we’ll keep making this garage the best place for any true mechanic and street racer.

Stay sharp and keep wrenching!
