Grab a free Steam key for Dark Sky, a new sci-fi RPG deckbuilder

Deckbuilders and RPGs are easily among our favorite genres here at PCGamesN, and when we hear about the two being combined, that's just something we have to look into. Enter Dark Sky, which takes a bit of Slay the Spire, adds a sci-fi spin and a branching skill system, and works it all into a narrative story game. Now, we've got five free Steam keys for it to give away to a lucky few winners.

New sci-fi RPG deckbuilder Dark Sky is full of rich tactical combat

Sometimes it's really easy to nail down what a game is. It's like Elden Ring, or it's like Skyrim, and you're easily able to encapsulate exactly what it is that's brilliant about a title. Then there are games like Dark Sky, which is out now, which combine so many different genres and influences together, and you really begin to struggle.

Dark Sky is AVAILABLE NOW!

Hey everyone,

THE DAY HAS ARRIVED! Dark Sky is officially available on Steam! From our Kickstarter campaign in 2021 to today’s full release, we couldn’t be more grateful for all the support and feedback we've received along the way.

If you enjoy the game, we’d love for you to leave a review–not only does it help Dark Sky gain visibility and traction, but it also means the world to our team!

Here’s what a few members of the team had to say about the exciting launch today!

“Over three years ago, we set out to combine the narrative depth, party-based combat, and immersion of an RPG with the strategic combat and rewarding synergies of a deckbuilder. Bringing Dark Sky to life has been an incredible journey, and I can’t wait for you to meet these characters and dive into this epic, handcrafted adventure.”

- Rob Thompson, co-founder of Ganymede Games

“I’ve always seen Dark Sky as the story of its party. So, it was important for us that the characters, and by extension their decks, felt distinct enough for their colorful personalities to shine through, yet play off each other as a whole. We’re excited for you to explore these interactions through building their decks and trying out different combinations.”

-Felipe Nuñez Cassina, Game Designer at Ganymede Games

"The narrative component in Dark Sky is a critical part of the game, and I've invested a lot of passion into the project over the past few years. All that work is about to see daylight, and that’s one of the most exciting moments in any project. I’m really looking forward to players having the opportunity to connect with the world, the characters, and the story we’ve worked so hard to create."

-Tod Lancaster, Writer at Ganymede Games

The time has come to assemble your party, customize your decks, and prepare for battle!
