Sakura Update is out now!



Console Update is now available for PC

To celebrate the release of Dorfromantik for Nintendo Switch, the console update featuring the new Sakura Biome and full controller support is now also available for PC with this update.

[h3]๐ŸŒธ New Biome[/h3]
To celebrate the Nintendo Swtich release of Dorfromantik, we added a brand new cherry blossom biome featuring unique architecture and scenery to the game. Unlock the colorful biome by placing more than 2000 tiles in total to complete the Landscaper VI challenge.

[h3]๐ŸŽฎ Controller Support[/h3]
The full controller support we implemented for the Nintendo Switch version is now also available to all PC players. The game is now also playable via the Steam Deck and should be marked as fully supported accordingly in the Steam Store in the next few days, as soon as the review on the part of Valve is completed.

[h3]๐Ÿš€ Performance Improvements[/h3]
In order to port Dorfromantik to the Nintendo Switch, we had to perform a lot of performance optimizations, which will now of course also benefit the PC version. We will fine-tune a few more parts so that we can meet the wide range of different hardware requirements for PC.

[h3]๐ŸŒฑ Additional Custom Mode Options[/h3]
To neatly capture the gameplay for Nintendo Switch in smaller worlds due to technical reasons, we have introduced a new functionality called "world borders". Players can now create their landscapes within this area. This feature is now also available for everyone to use as a configuration option in Custom Mode.

We've been working with German board game publisher Pegasus for a while now to develop an analog Dorfromantik board game with the talented authors Lukas Zach and Michael Palm.



The game will be available as the German edition this December 2022 and will come out in English next year (2023).

[h3]๐ŸŽฎ Dorfromantik on the go![/h3]

Dorfromantik was recently released for Nintendo Switch and is available on the Nintendo eShop (more info on our website). Very soon it will also finally be verified for Steam Deck!
Now you can play Dorfromantik on the couch, on the train or wherever else you like!

Dorfromantik is now available on Nintendo Switch!

As announced a few weeks ago at Gamescom, we are happy to announce that Dorfromantik will now be available for Nintendo Switch:


To celebrate the release onto Nintendo Switch, we added a brand new cherry blossom biome featuring unique architecture and scenery. The new features for the Switch version, such as full controller support or new settings for the custom mode, will of course also be available to all PC players as a free update. In this regard, we released the update to the public beta already for you to check out.

We've been working with German board game publisher Pegasus for a while now to develop an analog Dorfromantik board game with the talented authors Lukas Zach and Michael Palm.
  • Dorfromantik board game Up to six players work together by placing hexagonal tiles to create a beautiful landscape. They try to fulfill the wishes of the inhabitants by fulfilling unique quests. Cleverly place tiles to build the longest rivers and train routes, as well as complete flags in their areas to earn points for all of it.

    Throughout the replayable campaign, the points earned can be used to unlock new tiles hidden in initially locked crates. They introduce the players to new, additional quests and allow them to keep pushing the high score higher and higher.



The game will be available as the German edition later this year (Q4 2022) and will come out in English next year (2023). If you are from North America, we recommend to check out Pegasus North America as soon as it is available for preorder.

We will also be at SPIEL '22, the world's largest public event for board games, where Pegasus already has a few copies of the Dorfromantik board game available.
