Huge Demo Update

After putting our heads down to get the game to a state where we finally have all the major systems in place and working, we finally had the time to update the demo again.
It's similar in the amount of content it had before, but it is a lot of different stuff. And most importantly it has the full feature set in terms of UI and quality of life stuff as the full game.

  • New units!
  • All new AI system!
  • New enemy units and buildings
  • new upgrades and hacks!
  • All New UI
  • camera zoom
  • customizable controls

On top of the demo update, we will also start doing a lot more beta playtests soon. So stay tuned to find out more about that. And join our Discord to be part of it.

Devlog 12: Why having a demo is key.

Musings about what kind of role having a demo for your game is playing in the development of games and some specific cases that make it basically something that does not have a realistic alternative.
While I think, this is mostly interesting for other game developers, I tried to bring across the ways in which this affects the players as well.
Would be very interested in your thoughts on this one.
