Neon Wings will be free to play!

Since we don't expect major sales in the future, we're making the game free. Maybe more of you will play this way :)
I hope it will be free around the New Year, the date mainly depends on steam.

New Level

HO-HO-HO, Santa's coming to town and brings you a present from the No More Neon team! We've put together a Christmas-themed level for you to make your holiday better! The level is the last one in the level list but it's already unlocked for everyone so gather your friends or race against the AI and have a great time!

Neon Wings 1.1 - BIG NEW features

New Features:
  • knockout race is available in multiplayer
  • in-race UI reworked for better visibility
  • electric sparks effect when a missile hits a ship
  • all the afterburners on ship are burning when using nitro booster Power-Up
  • missed checkpoint warning to warn player before entering the next checkpoint

  • smoother camera handling
  • options menu now sets/saves/loads settings as intended

Skillnoid

We've just added support for the Skillnoid companion app! A solution that takes the playing experience to a new level by converting the real-life physical activity of gamers into valuable in-game rewards. Earn bonuses and power-ups within Neon Wings by simply staying active and improving your health.

Neon Wings: Air Race v1.02 Patch Notes

  • Multiplayer lobby: number of players in lobby gets updated more frequently (once per 5 seconds)
  • Options menu is more consistent now and should display correct values
  • Options menu: vsync is now "on" or "off", no more levels from 0..4
  • Options menu: post processing setting was not working before. Now it is working in-race but not yet in Main Menu
  • Xou can't control the ship with keyboard anymore (keyboard controls was never supported, we forgot it was left in the game)
