Today we launched a quick hotfix patch.

Check out the changelog below:

- fixed game stuck on a black screen when crossing between zones
- fixed black screens that happend after planting specific trees/plants
- improved readability of the shop and blueprints system
- loading screen added
- fix for improved buildings disappearing from the map
- decoration station upgrade kit fixed
- slight performance improvement in the village area
- double drop obtained from the jar maker removed
- correction of camera positioning on gates when crossing between zones
- ellen levitation fix after a teleport
- improved camera handling on gates
- collisions with objects and handling of enemies in the dungeons fixes
- pet stations duplication fix
- chests crafting fixed on the previous version saves
- single water shot now uses more ammunition
- water hose range fix
- fixed improper display for key requirement in the house
- added a missing icon for chicken traveler
- various typos in item and quest descriptions corrected
- fixed an issue with a quest displaying improper meals as a requirement for completion

If you are still having any further blackscreen issues please update your graphic card drivers and that should solve the problem.

In order to avoid any file corruption new Beta Access does not connect to your main game, it doesn't load any of your save games and i does require to start a New Game.
Once you are done with Beta you can change back to main branch (see tutorial above) and enjoy your old saved games.

1st Major Patch Announcement - Mid-April Release Date!

Hey guys!

As we are getting close to End of March we wanted to update you on our progress. We have been working very hard on delivering everything that we planned, but we will need 2 extra weeks to make it happen.

Taking everything into consideration First Major should be released in mid-April.

Thank you for your patience and we hope you will enjoy it as we have prepared a lot more features and content for you!

We originally planned on releasing 2 new zones with the first Major patch but after all your feedback and suggestions we have decided to postpone the release of one zone in exchange for a major game overhaul.

We understand that you were looking for that update and we don’t want to leave you empty-handed and so we are very excited to announce some of the changes and features from the upcoming 1st Major Patch together with the new Lonley Hills zone.

Overall system simplification:

Based on your feedback we realized that the previous tools system wasn’t clear enough and it caused more confusion than fun. Additionally hitting trash piles with the shovel wasn’t as satisfying as vacuuming and so we decided to make it more pleasant.
And so Pick Hammer and shovelsaw have been removed! We also removed the ammo system from the game. We found it an unnecessary addition that does not support the main theme of the game.

[h2]3 Simple and Fun Tools[/h2]
What we are left with is 3 simple and fun tools:

Drill- Hit or hold Left Mouse Button
Water hose - Hit or hold Right Mouse Button
Vacuum - Hit or hold Space




[h2]One Drill to clear them all :[/h2]
With all tools converted to one drill, you can now destroy all cubes by either hitting them (as earlier) or with a pleasant continued drilling action. No need to think anymore about which button does what and how to use different tools. All you need now to do is upgrade your drill once you find a cube that can't be destroyed with the current drill level.

[h2]Watering system Overhaul:[/h2]
The previous version wasn’t clear, precise and satisfying enough and so we decided to completely redo it.
Now it works like a watering hose and we hope you will love it. Check out how it looks in game!

[h2]New Currency, Crafting and Shop systems![/h2]
We liked the idea of buying new stuff for food and recycled materials but something was always not right. A lot of you also suggested introducing a crafting system that feels more like crafting, less than shopping. We hope you will like the following changes!

Now we have 2 distinct currencies:

[h3]New Blueprint Currencies - Jars and food [/h3]
Jars are new universal currency that replaces previous "Delicious Dishes". You can now turn any of your food with Jar maker into Jars and spend it together with food on new blueprints (crafting recipes).

New Crafting Currencies - Recycled Materials and Resources [/h3]
Recycled Materials is also new universal currency. You can turn any Trash and Resources into Recycled Materials and spend it together with specific resources on crafting items.


[h2]New Shop system - Helpful NPC's[/h2]
We turned all shops into something new – Helpful NPC’s. Now every NPC will be able to teach you new crafting blueprints in exchange for Jars and specific food.



[h2]New Crafting System [/h2]
Once you unlock new blueprints you will be able to craft your items directly at your farm! Your crafting station will tell you who can teach you new recipes (blueprints) and how much materials you will need to craft those items.



[h2]New Journal [/h2]
We have also introduced new journal to the game that will hold all the info that you need as well as your inventory. You will be able to find there info about quests, guides and map.



[h2]New Jar Maker and Kitchen[/h2]
We understood that the previous kitchen wasn’t very clear and fun system and so we decided to redo it as well.
[h3]New Kitchen[/h3]
We introduced to game new kitchen system where you will be able to use your produce to cook food and dishes. Those dished will be required to domesticate some animals, they will be useful for quests and learning new recipes as well as making new friends. You will be also able to turn every dish into Jar Food currency and it will be always worth more than individual ingredients so better plan your cooking ahead to make sure you can use up everything you got! Some dishes may even give you extra bonuses.
You will be find new cooking recipes all over the game world, find them in hidden places, get them as rewards or even find secret recipes by experimenting with random ingredients!



[h3]New Jar Marker[/h3]
New Jar maker is simply new version of old Kitchen where you can turn any food into universal currency. This time you will have full control over what food you want to turn into Jars so no more misclicks and losing important ingredients!



New House Features

We are also working on developing more features that will turn that old tree house into your dream home.

[h2]New wallpaper and wall pictures [/h2] With new patch you will be also able to repaint your walls, setup new wallpapers and hand pictures on the walls! No need to live in dirty house anymore!

[h2]New Rooms[/h2] With new zone and introduction of Architect NPC you will be able to unlock new rooms in the house and renovate them into a cozy home.



New content

Regarding new content, we have plenty of things for you to find and enjoy together with whole new zone and quests. We don’t want to spoil too much at this moment but you can check out below just a few things of many that will come!



[h2]Where is the Story?[/h2]
No, we haven’t forgotten about creating a compelling story around main protagonist and game world, it just wasn’t a priority until now. But we are happy to say that we just involved very talented writers to join us on this adventure and we are working hard on new and exciting story that will be introduced into game. We still need around 2-3 months to implement it and we hope it will be worth the wait 😉

[h2]Game optimization?[/h2]
During recent development we have discovered new ways to optimize our game, we already have prepared a solid plan and will carry it out after next major patch so you can expect new optimization improvements in next 2 months.

[h2]Language Editions[/h2]
Due to the upcoming introduction of new story, dialogues and quests we have postponed language editions. We will work on them as soon as we are done with story revamp so new date for language editions is end of Q2 2021.

New Quick Hotfix

Hey guys! We just published new hotfix.

Here is a list of changes:
- players will no longer receive multiple pig statues
- fixed freeze after dismantling the cat house
- fixed issue with disappearing turrets and cubebots
- multiple controls fixes - fixed stuck drill, vacuum and others
- vacuum particles now correctly rotates with player camera
- fixed many places where terrain and surroundings disappeared from the screen
- tutorial fixes

New patch includes:

- Big Optimization update - We divided world into few zones (no loading screens!) and added a lot of LOD's. We got on average 15-20 more FPS and we are still working on further improvements.
- Upgraded Vacuum particles
- Added Key rebinding options
- Added progress bars on stations
- Updated animal behaviors and new animations
- Added Save games in cloud
- Days are now longer
- Added New tag system for items on inventory and shop window
- Improved input (vacuum and tools should not longer get stuck)
- Made Various fixes and upgrades in tutorial
- Created better indication of your home for starting players
- You can now remove old bed once you buy new one
- Few new and upgraded sounds for enemies, trash cubes and water
- More save slots to choose from + save delete warning popup
- Item acquisition popups system - list of the last drops picked up by the player

Bug fixes:
- Many fixes on various decorations
- Fixed bug that crushed game after removing recycler
- Fixed preview colors for few building in building mode
- Fixed info window for building destruction
- Fixed a broken crops perk
- Fixed few (although not all) enemy behavior bugs
- Fixed few places where you could get stuck
- Fixed few sound option issues
- Fixed incorrect loading of large enemies on the map
- Fixes for camera locking on objects
- Fixed multiple problematic spots in environment
- Fixed interaction highlight at "Ultra kitchen"
- Item description fixes and new icon implementation for drill
- Fix for double windows that show up sometimes while going to sleep

What about New tools and crafting system?
Actually we finished working on new tools system but its still needs further testing and we prioritized other tasks ahead of it as, although its not great, it works pretty well at the moment. We plan to post a fully polished version with Major March Patch.
Regarding new crafting after further tests we realized that we cannot implement it without bigger overhaul of current systems and we will start working on it right after next Major Patch.

What about That Major March Patch?
Actually work goes full speed ahead, and it is scheduled for end of March. We already made new NPC, new Animals, new work stations, plants, recipes, we are greatly improving Journal system, we are adding new cooking system with recipes, and new exciting zones to explore and quest! We can’t wait to share them with you!

Do we have to wait another 6 weeks for update?
Actually after reading your feedback we decided to do more smaller patched between major patches and they should go out every 2-3 weeks 😉They should mostly include quality of life improvements and bugs fixes while Major Patches will focus on new content.

What about hotfixes?
We have already recognized few new minor issues and we will post another hotfix update in next few days. You can also report any encountered problems/bug in thread linked above.
