Patch 0.13 is out!

[h2]Patch v0.13 is live! [/h2]Your game should automaticaly update.

[h3]What is included in new patch v0.13:[/h3]
- New starting tutorial
- New NPC guide (a friendly farmer full of usefull tips for beginner is standing next to controllers bilboard under our tree house)
- New Graphic Options Menu with more graphic options including :motion blur, bloom, ambient occlusion, depth of field
- Option to reverse vertical mouse steering
- You can now move all building with "R" button
- Enemies now have health bars
- Going to sleep now pops a confirmation window
- New pop up info with tooltips (more coming soon)
- Game loading time has been greatly reduced

What has been fixed:
- Bird feeders have updated costs and requirements - they know change food resource into potatoe seeds
- Peach trees can be harvested now
- All fruits can be vacuumed now
- Fruit tree names have been updated
- Better enemies behaviour
- Better balanced enemeies parameters
- Better battery drop behaviour
- Cubebots no longer vanish after vacuuming them
- Cubebots no longer vanish under ground
- Less places when you can get stuck
- Ellen can no longer keep moving after fainting.
- Fixed few shimmering enviro object
- Fixed few ramps to make them more smooth for walking
- Few water fixes
- Few LOD fixes
- Turret desactivation button should work now
- We added items that require electro trash
- Bird feeders have updated costs and requirements
- Fox den have updated collider
- Corner fences can be destroyed now
- Perks for high drops and bigger harvest work as intended now
- Falling under map should teleport you back automatically now

[h3]Optimization Update[/h3]
We are now working hard on big optimization update and todays updated graphic settings is just a small step in better lookign game with faster performance. We should post a dedicated performance patch before 15th of February.

We are also finishing work on more enjoyable tools and watering system. We plan to post a dedicated update sometime next week on steam beta access to gather your feedback. If everything goes well we will implement it to live version. Stay tuned for an udate!

[h3]Overall crafting and economy system update[/h3]
We have read a lot of feedback that current system doesn't feel that good and that you are missing crafting.
We are researching our option and looking for system that would be both satysfying and would fit thematically. We will post a dedicated pinned post next week to discuss with you the options. Looking forward to your feedback!

Hotfix 0.12 is out!

Foxes no longer brake the game after spawning in infinite numbers

Hey guys!

Patch v0.12 is live! Your game should automaticaly update.

-Production buildings can now be destroyed while working and will drop their contents
-production buildings should now properly finish without freezing
-fixed crashes caused by going to sleep after destroying some buildings
-fixed the issue with infinite fox spawning
-improvements to animal behaviour when close to their dwelling
-fixed isssue with game log being overfilled with useless messages
-fox den can now hold more foxes
-toxic waste is slightly smaller and is properly saved after cleaning
-wood cube poping fixed
-few placeholder icons replaced with correct ones

New 0.11 Patch is out!

(Petting fox no longer breaks the game)

Hey guys!

Patch v0.11 is live! Your game should automaticaly update. In short its fixing most game breaking/fun braking issues and we hope it didn’t create many new ones ;)

Day is longer now
Night Owl perk was removed – we need to work on it more as it sometimes broke the game
Early Bird Perk has been removed
You no longer loose bought items once your inventory is full
Station should work normally after loading game
In-game date should not produce errors after loading game
Issue where game broke down after night in some rare cases has been corrected
Grass disappears under placed fields and buildings
Floating Trash was fixed
Interactable Buttons now connect to targets with pipes (temporary fix)
Bosses have less HP and Pickahmmer deals more dmg
Pickhammer has bigger hitbox
Water filter is now also available in shop (as it still sometimes vanishes from map)
More Potatoes Seeds on map + there is one spot when potato seeds respawn daily
Multiple Spelling Errors
Electro Waste has bigger stack in inventory
Indestructable Salad Seed cubes piles can now be destroyed
Fungal garden can now be rotated
All poisoned trees are now accessible
Decorative bed works as bed
After going to sleep Ellen doesn’t fall throught the floor
Many places that could make you stucked (although not all yet)
Items from trash should not fly too far away now
Cubebots should walk now as intended
Birdfeeders do not disappear anymore
You can now build next to sprinklers
Cubebots do not levitate anymore
Chciken petting animation is faster now (still need to work on it more)
Water now deals dmg to enemies
Few trees and grass fixes
Petting fox doesn’t brake game anymore

[h3]What we are working on and still need to fix:[/h3]
-Animals can sometimes glitch out of reach if the corresponding building is build near a slope
-Cursor may not work properly after window size change
-Dog and other animals may sometimes not play walking animation when moving
-Big crab robots may sometimes dissappear
-Water may sometimes glitch through terrain
-Some slopes are too high to comfortably walk on
-Some popping issues are not fixed yet
-Some textures may flicer when moving
-Ellen can still sometimes get stuck when exploring
-Fainting animation doesn't work properly and Ellen can walk a while after losing all HP
-Batteries dropped by enemies can sometimes launch into the air after dropping
-The particle for crab robot jump persists after it's destruction
-Ellen's animation for petting animals can sometimes glitch at the start and finish
-Cubebots will not find a way to the lodge if player loads the game a day after taming them
-The camera may go out of bounds when respawning
-The indicators for some repairable objects are too large and hardly visible
-Some items are still using incorrect placeholder icons
-Highlighting farmer house ruins before repair causes significant drop in fps
-Super Chicken can bounce of weird surfaces and target weird objects with it's lightning.

[h3]Next Steps:[/h3]
Main topic for following days will be game optimization. We already run some tests and we have a strong plan to improve on FPS and make it more accessible for lower spec computers and we can’t wait to share it with you!

Thank you so much for joining us on this journey! We just had an amazing launch of No Place Like Home and we couldn’t be happier to see so many of you playing our game, building the community and sharing your feedback. But we are also well aware that at current Early Access stage, its far from perfect and this is just the beginning of our work.

We are dedicated to make this game a best experience that we can and we can’t wait to share more content with you. We are already working on new animals, new crops, new crafting recipes, new npc with their own stories, dialogues, quests and of course new zones to explore! This is what we love to do and we hope that it will be a game that you love to play!

But most importantly we are working on delivering fixes to all current problems.

[h3]Your feedback[/h3]

We have gone through all of your reviews, comments and suggestions and we have recognized issues that we want to address asap. Based on that we have prepared a more detailed roadmap plan for upcoming weeks and months.

Full focus now is on fixing all the bugs and making game much more user friendly and much better optimized. After that we will focus on upgrading current mechanics and providing more exciting content and new features.

[h3]What has recently happened?[/h3]

We were so excited after a launch that right after short holidays break we have worked tirelessly to deliver you new patch. Just today for a brief moment we have updated the game with all the bug fixes but some very strange issue caused a further FPS drop and we had to revert to the previous version. We will fix it asap and patch the game on Tuesday. Thank you for your patience and please check out full plan below:

[h3]5th of January – Patch 0.11 - 1st minor Patch for Tier 1 stage of Early Access[/h3]
For this patch we have fixed lots a bugs and introduced few adjustments. Save system should work much better now. (but still needs some fixing). We still need however few days to better optimize the changes but you can already check the patch notes below:

If your game is crashing before launching or loads too long it means game may be too demanding for your computer system. We aim to fix that as well and run game for older computers on much lower settings.

We are also aware about a lot of other content and gameplay issues and we want to let you know that we are working on those as well. For March Tier 2 Major path we should have full gameplay fixed and from then on we will keep on adding great content and features.
