Thank you for participating in the February update survey.
We have carefully reviewed every piece of feedback you provided.
The survey focused on five key areas, and we'd like to share the results and our development plans with everyone, including those who may not have participated but continue to enjoy playing AVA.
1&2) Weapon Rebalancing & Weapons Needing Adjustment
[Survey Results]
- While some players were satisfied with the current state, many were not.
- The most commonly raised issue was the polarization of weapon performance, especially concerns over the balance of older weapons.
- Thank you for helping us review a wide range of feedback through this survey.
Weapon balance will continue to be adjusted through upcoming updates, and we appreciate your continued interest and support. - In future updates, we will prioritize ARs and SMGs and apply more careful and deliberate adjustments.
- While internal balance direction is important, we believe the most important goal is to ensure weapons are fun to play with.
We will prepare updates that will allow you to enjoy using more weapons through major balancing patches.
3) New Maps & Quick Match Mode Changes
[Survey Results]
- Reactions to the new maps were mixed, but many found them refreshing.
- However, many players expressed disappointment with the Quick Match mode changes, particularly hoping for the return of popular legacy modes.
- We also received feedback asking for a wider variety of maps to be available in Custom Channels.
- In the case of Quick Match, we have continued to introduce various updates over time, but we've recognized that overall player satisfaction has not been high.
To refocus on AVA’s core battlefield experience, we plan to narrow our focus to a few key modes. - However, since AVA offers a wide variety of modes, rather than fully reworking them, we are considering bringing back some as time-limited event modes.
4) Reward System Adjustments
[Survey Results]
- Some players appreciated the updates to attendance, daily, and season rewards.
- However, many felt the value and impact of rewards were insufficient.
- In particular, there were repeated comments about season rewards, capsule probabilities, and the quantity of AVA Coins
[Developer Comments & Future Plans]
- The development team shares your concerns regarding the reward system and will continue to review and apply improvements.
5) Season Level System
[Survey Results]
- Some players enjoyed the fast level progression, but many noted that rewards became less motivating after reaching level 200.
- There was also feedback from players who prefer the traditional rank system.
- We aim to improve the season level system to make it more fun and continuously motivating.
- For example, we plan to offer honor-based rewards and enjoyable seasonal content, and seasonal items will be arranged differently from previous formats to keep things fresh.
- To address the drop in AVA Coin earnings after level 200, we are preparing quests and events to maintain consistent rewards.
- The original rank system will remain as the account-level rank, and we will continue to provide seasonal content and events that align with the seasonal progression system.
We hope you look forward to what's coming!
