AVA Development Log: Removal of Pay 2 Win
Mercenaries!
Today we would like to take away some confusion that has arisen around the removal of Pay2Win. We have been committed to removing Pay2Win from the start, but after the first CBT and the Battle Pass announcement it has become clear that we left room for interpretation of how we removed it; so we would like to take the time to address this issue properly.
We would like to confirm in writing that the extra bullets for skins, which were in the game during the first CBT Playtest, will be removed in the upcoming build. Additionally, we have taken the step to remove boosts that characters have, so that they won't be Pay2Win either. As an example, this means that Marek R. Reznak will no longer have his 10% walking speed boost.
We want to further reiterate that we are committed to fully remove Pay2Win and understand we fell short in the first CBT. We apologize for this, and we hope that by taking this step we can fix that mistake. In case other concerns regarding Pay2Win pop up, feel free to let us know so we can investigate and act if necessary.
In the coming weeks we hope to share more updates regarding our progress on the CBT Playtest build, so stay on the lookout for more positive news!
Thanks.
Sincerely,
Your AVA Operations Team
