A.V.A Global Dev Letter - 2023 Febuary

Dear Mercenaries,

Greetings!

I am the AVA Global Balancing Designer, and I am excited to introduce myself to you for the first time through this Developer Letter.

It is my pleasure to be able to provide you with details regarding the upcoming balance patches for several weapons in the game.

First of all, here’s a little background on why we’re rebalancing weapons.

One of the most prominent features of AVA is the Three-Class System: Pointman, Rifleman, and Sniper.

Despite the Rifleman being intended as the centerpiece of the three classes, it is played less by users compared to the other classes.

Additionally, the other weapons belonging to the Rifleman class, apart from the MA-47, are not meeting their intended roles as expected.

To address this current issue, we have made balance adjustments for X4A1 and X36.

- Reduced ATK damage variance

- Increased range and Rate of Fire

- Significantly increased DPS

X4A1 is one of the users’ favorite weapons for its high rate of fire and accuracy.

These changes will make up for its relatively weak ATK damage compared to other weapons and provide users with greater satisfaction.

- Increased ATK and Rate of Fire

- Modified recoil pattern for easier gun operation

X36 is a mid-range combat weapon with high accuracy, but it has a recoil problem.

We have modified the recoil pattern to make it easier for users to operate.
Our Development Team always strives to improve the quality of the game based on your feedback.

Our utmost priority is to ensure a fun and engaging gaming experience while upholding game balance, and we remain committed to achieving this goal.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
AVA Global Balancing Designer
