AVA Development Log: Easy Anti-Cheat Integration Status

Mercenaries!

Today, we have great news! We have completed the Easy Anti-Cheat (EOS) integration. We are currently conducting testing of this system in another version.

After reviewing bug reports that people generously provided during CBT, we noticed EOS's challenges with 32 bit Operating Systems (OS). It is possible that the game will not run on these OS. In addition, this support would not be added in the future due to Microsoft's plan to phase out the 32 bit OS completely. We advise everyone to upgrade to the 64 bit OS.

In the upcoming weeks, we look forward to sharing more updates of CBT Playtest including more content, new weapons and most importantly, a date.

Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,
Your AVA Operations Team

AVA Development Log: Removal of Pay 2 Win

Mercenaries!

Today we would like to take away some confusion that has arisen around the removal of Pay2Win. We have been committed to removing Pay2Win from the start, but after the first CBT and the Battle Pass announcement it has become clear that we left room for interpretation of how we removed it; so we would like to take the time to address this issue properly.

We would like to confirm in writing that the extra bullets for skins, which were in the game during the first CBT Playtest, will be removed in the upcoming build. Additionally, we have taken the step to remove boosts that characters have, so that they won't be Pay2Win either. As an example, this means that Marek R. Reznak will no longer have his 10% walking speed boost.

We want to further reiterate that we are committed to fully remove Pay2Win and understand we fell short in the first CBT. We apologize for this, and we hope that by taking this step we can fix that mistake. In case other concerns regarding Pay2Win pop up, feel free to let us know so we can investigate and act if necessary.

In the coming weeks we hope to share more updates regarding our progress on the CBT Playtest build, so stay on the lookout for more positive news!

Thanks.

Sincerely,
Your AVA Operations Team

AVA Development Log: Making Progress

Mercenaries!

First of all, we would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to all the users who are waiting for AVA. Our team has been constantly modernizing the game. We are happy to inform you of the current development updates.

Through the last CBT, our team has once again confirmed that all users showed great support to AVA. We are doing our best to resolve the problems that appeared in CBT. While we continue to make progress on updating AVA, we have been producing positive strides.

We start off by giving AVA a refreshing look. Our team has revised and improved the game to evoke the great memories that users have. We are aimed at bringing you the best gaming experience!

In the future, we hope to release more about the details of improvements and how they will appear in-game. This means that we hope to showcase Clan Battle, changes to the weapon systems, UI renewal, the full removal of P2W, and more! We are considering sharing screenshots of new content in the upcoming weeks, so please stay tuned! To kick off, below is a sneak peek of the new UI (may be subject to change).

In January we also shared a couple of issues. The AntiCheat integration is almost ready for testing. We are actively investigating the other issues. We hope that the AntiCheat integration fixes the instability issues and that the in-game chat will be more secure for the future.

Once again, thank you all for your infinite support. There is not much time left until the opening of AVA on Steam. We will do our best to show you the true FPS experience as soon as possible!

Sincerely,
Your AVA Operations Team

Summary of CBT Feedback and Internal Testing

Mercenaries!

We would like to thank everyone for your patience as we continue to make wonderful progress on AVA.

After the CBT, we have been working very hard to adjust the anti-cheat system to AVA. While integrating EOS (New Easy Anti-cheat) to AVA, we are making sure that it is adjusted to the game properly. As per community feedback, we want to make sure that the anti-cheat system is 100% effective.

Based on CBT feedback, we have identified the weapon hit registry to be an issue. Our research concluded that this is not server-related, but we are continuing to look into this issue. We hope to provide everyone with a positive gameplay experience.

We noticed in-game chat behaviors that violated the Code of Conduct during CBT, therefore we are currently looking for ways to make AVA a more pleasant place for everyone. We ask everyone to treat each other with respect and human decency.

Once a proper outline is ready to be released, we will make sure that the community will be the first to know.

We hope you are excited about the amazing future of AVA!

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Your AVA Operations Team
