• The Wisdom monument is HERE! Go take on his challenge of using your brain, if you dare...
• Level up 10 new bonuses from the Wisdom Monument!
• The Wisdom Monument has made up his mind regarding his Schematic. It now gives +1 Starting Attempt per POW 10 hours you respect him, as well as continuing to give +20% Monument AFK Gain rate
• The 12th bonus from Measurement Villager has been added, giving +% Monument AFK Gain rate!
• Bolaia's Studies on the Wisdom Cavern now have a bonus!
• Added a secret mode to Wisdom Monument... you'll have to ask around for how to access it...


• You can now hold down to upgrade Alchemy Bubbles FAST!
• Added a SHOW PTS button to top-left of Gambit cavern, which displays the points you have from each gambit and explains how points are calculated
• Added highlights to Grimoire once you unlock Writhing Grimoire, to show which other bonuses are affected by it
• Added a display to summoning upgrades to show how many Doublers you have in the bottom left corner. Only shows up if you have any doublers left.


• Your wishes for Infinite Resources at The Lamp will now affect Jar Rupie Gain!
• Increased the number of opals you can buy from the Oddities section of the Gem Shop


• Fixed Death Bringer's crashing when fighting in the Dawg Den cavern
• Fixed a bug that prevented you from starting a Gambit Challenge if you had 0 summoning lives left for the day
• Fixed a bug where W4 troll boss was invisible on regular mode
• Fixed Sussy Gene's 3rd quest not counting Gambit as a way to complete it
• Blue Tee recipe in Anvil Tab I is now a default recipe, meaning everybody now has it unlocked.
• Fixed a small mixup -- the 9th Jar Collectible was giving the 10th's bonus, and the 10th was giving the 9th's bonus.
• Fixed a lil buggy boo that made the freakin' Snail Mail Gambit Bonus give +1 mail a day instead of 2x which is crazy like wow
• Fixed Biggole Mole companion using an incorrect number of days when giving +1% Printer/day. All players have been set to 11 days, which is MORE than you would have had if it worked from day 1, but of course less than the incorrect number it currently gives.
• Fixed the Dark Luck schematic to correctly give multiplicative 1.10x Enchantment Chance per POW 10 dark rupies

• UNDERGROUND OVERGROWTH -- 5 new caverns
• New villager - Bolaia the Cavern Scholar!
• 28 new schematics for Kaipu the Engineer Villager
• 4 new bonuses for Cosmo the Conjuror Villager
• 6 new bonuses for Minau the Measurement Villager
• 2 new bonuses to get from ringing the bell
• 1 new statue - it's actually found at Cavern 9. The Dragon Warrior statue is now found somewhere in the new caverns...
• 2 new stamps - both found within the new caverns

• New companions, which you CAN use your weekly freebie on!
• You can now select which Tier of Treat you want to buy, and each one comes with its own guarantee! The Guarantee for the Mythic pet is only 30, not 200!
• You can access the old pets through the "LEGACY" button in the top left of the Buy Companion window. You can still spend crystals and use your weeklie freebie there if you want.

[h3]Quality Improvements[/h3]
• You can hold down on Opal Investing to give them to your villagers FAST!
• Added the "Score needed for Next Opal" display to the Dawg Den while fighting!
• Flaggy progress toward unlocking a new cog slot is always shown, so long as a flag is placed there.

[h3]Balance Changes[/h3]
• Everyone with a LV 13+ explorer villager has been set to LV 12 - I did this because Villager is now harder to level up past 12. While everything in IdleOn allows for "prep", and I do not want to discourage prepping for things, refrain from prepping Explorer villager for Caverns 16-20, and 21+.
• Renewing the Bell (resetting it) now costs 25 EXP, instead of 250 EXP. EXP rate remains at 10/hr

[h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]
• Reclaiming "Begginer Best Class" Star Talent from Rocklyte now works, before it was giving "Quest Kapow!"
• Standardized the height display of coins -- void and beyond were shown lower than the base coins, overlapping with the number under them making them harder to see.

PET TRADING!


[h2]Trades are always between YOUR FOLLOWER PET, and THEIR FOLLOWER PET[/h2]

How to choose a follower: Go to Dog in World 1. Now, click Manage in the top-left. Now, click Select Pet Follower in top-right. Select follower!



ːSmile_IdleOnː When you trade a pet with someone, you KEEP YOUR PET (in untradeable form), while receiving their pet in untradeable form also

ːHeart_IdleOnː You can trade your pet to someone for nothing in return. They will get the pet (untradeable), and you KEEP YOUR PET (untradeable), meaning you can essentially Gift your pets to friends!

[h2]For example:[/h2]
If I trade my Rift Slug for your Ram, I will end up with an Untradeable Slug and Untradeable Ram.
You will end up with an Untradeable Ram and Untradeable Slug.




🐘 The elephant in the room asks: "Why not just do a normal trading system.... You get their pet, and they get yours?"

1. This "pet duplication" actually LETS you use trading! What normally happens (for me) in trading is that I get a super powerful item, keep it forever, never end up trading it, and then eventually quit -- in other words, it's as if trading didn't even exist! This way, you can actually engage in trading your most powerful pets, since you end up keeping a copy!

2. Because that would open the door for scams, fraud, phishing, social engineering, hacked accounts, and every black-market force that plagues other MMOs. Players would be under constant duress both in-game and in discord, getting fake links from hackers trying to hijack your account so they can sell your pets. Having pets become untradeable removes the incentive and value for bad actors, while giving that EXTRA value to the real players who actually play idleon!

3. More pets for all -- I know some people were hoping to become a "merchant" (constantly trading pets around in the hopes of 'trading up' to the top tier pets, like that guy who trade a paperclip into a house over years), but most people just want more pets, period. This system doubles the amount of pets in game. For every 1 doot pull, thats TWO doots that enter the playerbase!

4. Allows for generosity -- In a normal trading system, you would NEVER give your best items to your friends. Ever. Only if you got duplicates. But because this system lets you trade a pet for no pet in return, you can essentially GIFT your best pets to your best friends, since you keep yours!

[h3]Now, as for future pets, to me its very simple:[/h3]
Pet accumulation is fun.
Getting bonuses is fun.
Choosing which rotations and having new pets to use your freebie on each week is fun.


Buuuut... there are a few things that are not fun: huge requirements to hit the pity, and bonuses that feel too integral to progression.
I stand by the fact that no current pets are required for progression in the same way that buying a DLC is literally required for progression in a game with DLC, but I would have liked doot, ram, and sheepie to be less integral.

[h3]As such, future pets will all be number-bonuses. [/h3]
+% Library checkout speed, +X% build rate, +X% class EXP, +X% Ninja Stealth, you get the idea.
No "[insert feature] now operates in a different/better way", like with bubbles / storage / divinities

ːIdleOnː IdleOn was, is, and always will be at its best when the juicy Game-Changing bonuses are tied to content, like you find in Alchemy, Construction, Lab, Sailing, Gaming, Jade Emporium, Summoning, and future world 7 skills. I think these changes will be perfect in making pets the system it was always meant to be.
