  • Q: Is this update only one mod?
    A: Yes,this new version focuses on testing new gameplay and new system,so currently only the first half of Lies and Fraud has been disclosed.

  • Q:This time the plot is too short,it’s not enough for me to play,and it feels no different from the first version.
    A:The content of the Lies and Fraud mod this time only accounts for about 30-40% of the full version,and the follow-up content is under development,please be patient.

  • Q:Some buttons and interactions are still very unpleasant/I don’t understand the check interface/It’s weird to click the F back and forth/The shortcut keys are much weirder.
    A:Because we remake the system and UI,but they still in the improving stage,and the current production team has no time to make game teaching guide, So it is normal for some players to feel weird, we will solve this problem before EA.

  • Q:Some battle is not clear,and I am not sure when is the right time to perform check.
    A:The battle system is basically remake compared to the last test version, and the production team is also working hard to improve it. In addition, there is no time to make game teaching guides before the release test, so please wait patiently for the improving and optimization of the battle in the future.

  • Q:What’s the useage of interlude?
    A:Text mod experience, even if you die, you will not tear the card. You can get new characteristics after clearing the level normally. Currently, the number of entries is not displayed. You can always use a card for repeated experience. As a new system of Depersonalization, we hope it will be able to promote the interlude as a crowd-creation tool to players in the future, so that everyone can create their own text groups in Depersonalization.

  • Q:The usage of many skills/items is different from the previous version
    A:Our skills/items system has also been remade

  • Q: Yog-Sothoth became the AI,please give me back the Yog-Sothoth can talk to me.
    A: A series of issues caused by the previous AI will affect or even hinder the launch of the mobile phone of Depersonalization, so we have replaced another brand-new AI. At present, many questions cannot be answered by Yog-Sothoth,because the production team has not yet configured the relevant keyword answers. We will improve the configuration of this section in the future.

  • Q: Why isn't the mobile terminal/Mac updated/adapted to the controller?

    A: Due to limited time, each update version needs half a month of production, so we can only rush to update the PC side first, and the Mac is under expedited testing. Due to performance optimization/operation/ UI issues are still being improved, and may not be updated in a short time, and the controller adaptation will be updated in a later stage.

  • Q:How can I equip weapons?
    A: Using the right mouse button

  • Q:How to save game?
    A:There is a save button in the lower right corner of the interface (just next to the menu button), and the shortcut key L can also be used directly.

  • Q: I can't give my teammates anything now, I can't use items for my teammates either, and my teammates can't help me perform check.
    A:Because of the limited energy and time, we have only made the function of teammates to help you fight , and will add other interactive content depending on the situation.

  • Q: Will there be a workshop/mod creation/multiplayer online in the future?
    A: It is in our plan, but the actual difficulty of making it is a big challenge to us. I can only promise that as long as we can do it, there will be.

  • Q:The voice is too unpleasant, and the electronic sound is very strange
    A: Because the real dubbing will take up a lot of manpower and resources, we can only use the electronic sound commonly used in Replay. If you feel uncomfortable, you can turn off the electronic dialogue sound in the system interface.

Right now we're focusing on getting EA version online as soon as possible for PC.
——Unfortunately, due to the shortage of cash on hand, we can only rely on the free trial food in the grocery store to survive.

Unexpectedly, it has been 18 months since the project was established. Looking back, from the old draft version of the game, to this version, that finally made me reluctantly satisfied. I would like to thank all the investigators for their kindness.
Now that the time is tight, we can no longer polish and evolve. After the system framework is finalized, the game will be extended to the future with the current systems. If the next version of "Depersonalization" does not satisfy everyone, unfortunately, we cannot make further changes at the current time, thank you for understanding.
After the important things, the following is the new work report to all the investigators.


[h3]What have we done during this time[/h3]
Although many people say that in the early stage of many independent games, only two can be selected between the graphics, system, and plot. However, we still spent a quarter of the time making up more game systems.

[h3]Temple of Time-space[/h3]

Anan and Sotos have a place to live, and the place to expand the new system in the future is also guaranteed~

[h3]Create Character[/h3]

Here, you can create an investigator. After entering, you will see that four basic investigator models can be chosen. Finally, you don't need to work for each module evey time Anan!

The trait feature is on the right side of the investigator, which was previously mentioned to provide the role-playing solution in video games.
Characters will have four types of traits, suffering, personalities, perception, and experiences.
Suffering, personalities, and perception cannot be changed. Currently, personalities will affect the choice of events, and perception will determine the response of spiritual power.

Although innate things cannot be changed, we can use our experiences to constantly improve ourselves.


[h3]Interlude Module[/h3]

In order to easily increase the game time in the future, bah, it is convenient for the game to carry out multiple different forms of creation. We have added the text game as the character's interlude story. In the text game , you can experience the fun of the single-player TRPG module ( strongly recommend Chaosium's "Alone against the flames" module). I don't know if you will be interested in it, but I hope you will enjoy it and have fun.
It is worth mentioning that the experience trait can be obtained at the end of the text game.

Thousands of books stored by Sotos can be seen on the shelves. Each book also represents each module’s story.

And our KP will no doubt be Sotos!

Use the mysterious books in the backpack, and after successful study, you will find that we have finally implemented the spell system!


[h3]Combat system[/h3]

In order to restore the COB(Call of Bilibili) TRPG experience and promote the "normal" TRPG battle process, we have implemented various PL's whimsy into combat behaviors.

When encountering an unbeatable enemy, now investigator can -- just run.

If you win, you can search and get some loot.

[h3]Time Points & Projection Items[/h3]

As long as a certain branch result is reached, the settlement can start, and the character that had been used will not be able to reenter the mod after settlement.

All the resources obtained will be recycled into the power of Sotos (space-time points), the more achievements you have, the more clues you get, the more space-time points you will get.

Time-space points can be used in various systems in the temple of time-space in the future. Currently, it can be used to project "Imbalance" equipment, and to rewrite the fate of the connected character.
The points will be consumed in the interlude module.

At present, the exploration model of "Soladnit" has been implemented. Investigator will investigate together with Shaye. Finally, we are no longer fighting alone.

Q:Contents of the PC-EA version
A:Four exploration mods, "All For One", "Lies and Fraud", "Soladnit", and "Welcome to Arkham."
Seven Interlude Modules
The linear flow of each exploration module storyline will be around 1 hour
PS:If there is time, there will be a new version of the battle mod. (It's usually too late, don't believe the nonsense of the development team!)

Q:New Demo and EA Release
A:There will be a new demo version in June (warning: the more systems, the less content in the game, jk), and the lie and fraud mod will return.
The EA version will be released in late 2022, and the main work is to fill in all the mod content planned for the current version.

Q:Plans for the official version after EA
A:In the next 12 months, the visual configuration interface in the game will be completed, and the functional custom module will be completed.
Before the custom module editor is completed, we want customize more exploration modules. In order to add various stories we like to the game, we welcome the creators of the modules, and the video Up team to come and cooperate with us.
